Used these on a 2008 dodge ram 1500 4.7L flex. I was very worried considering how many different sets of lifters and rocker arms there are on amazon. Did research and alot of watching you tube videos making sure everything would work and fit properly once starting this project. I've been battling lifter tick for a good amount of years with this trucks engine. I used quite a few different oil additives and went to full synthetic valve line engine oil to help quiet them up until last month. Quite a few (6 out of 16 to be exact) were weak and had a lot of play when taken out. I found these with good reviews. A few days before installing I had them soak in full synthetic engine oil in a small container for a couple days until I installed them in the engine. Both lifters and rocker arms fit very well and slid right in. Rocker arms installed perfectly. Threw some extra assembly lube on the cam, rocker arms, springs, and tops of lifters to ensure a good lubricated start when first starting engine to reduce wear or noise on first start till oil circulated through the system. They are so quiet and my engine runs like I just bought it brand new. No more misfires and very smooth idle with fantastic performance after test driving it a good 20 miles to break it in and let the oil run through. I'm so happy these turned out great and worked for my truck considering 08 rams went to the new updated engine with camsand all that changed in the upper side of engine. If you have a 4.7L v8 2007 and below, or an 2008 and above these work for both and fit perfectly regardless. I would recommend to anyone that these are the lifters and rockers to get. Just make sure to soak them for a few days and keep them in oil till you put them right into the engine to ensure no first startup tick or issues. That is a must or you will get dry start and excessive noise and possibly lifter failure due to oil not getting to cams quick enough when you do are finished and do a first time start.
