Having an advanced degree in mathematical knot theory helps when putting it on but, once I figured it out for my girlfriend, it looks nice. It would be better if it fell closer to the neck as it certainly is not a choker.

Someone Else had written a review that it is too small and you can't get it around your head. You can unloop it and put it on that way. It fits just fine very pretty for the price.
