Maslow 88074 Standard Bowl, Stainless Steel, 3 Cups/24 Ounce (Pack of 1)

Its a great dish for the price. I realize it was an inexpensive water dish. I don't expect it to be the best dish on the planet. But, for the price it fits my needs. I purchased the 17 cup bowl. My picture is for size. The two dogs are the big dogs - Labrador and Bernese mountain dog. Large dogs. You'll see I had to place it on a silicone mat. My dogs drip. (Blue mat is another amazon product - see other review.) 17 Cups is the right size. My dogs go through it once a day - sometimes twice. We live in Florida but it's an inside bowl. We had a different bowl - PetSafe Healthy Pet Water Station, Dog and Cat Water System with Stainless Steel Bowl, Large, 320 oz. (We had two of these.) This actually worked well for us in Ohio but the water in Florida is different. I don't like for it to stay inside the reservoir for two or three days. This dish works for us right now. I like that I have to refill it every day because it requires me to clean and refresh the water daily. All three dogs can drink out of it at the same time if the choose. I will update this review if I find that I need to replace the bowl. Initial thoughts - good bowl and fits our needs right now.

My Labrador Retriever is an extremely sloppy drinker. When she drinks, water gushes out of the sides of her jowls as fast as she slurps it in. If another dog is nearby, she will try to impress him by gulping even larger amounts of water and making a huge mess. There was always puddles of water around her bowl. I tried towels under the bowl and bought a special water hog mat to go under the bowl. Water just soaked all of that and rolled under the mat to make an even bigger mess. The kitchen floor was always wet and nobody could walk near the dog bowl in sock feet. In desperation I bought this Bergan Stainless Steel Dog Bowl. It is wonderful. I wish the metal was heavier, but it is lightweight to carry and seems sturdy enough. I haven't had it long enough to see if it will rust. It is shiny and looks good. The best thing, though, is that the bowl is around 11 inches in diameter, and is plenty large enough for my dog's big head. I fill it up less than half way and that is the answer to the water issue. My dog can drink with as much gusto as she wants and the splashing is contained in the large bowl. Now if she could just learn to wipe her mouth after she drinks, we wouldn't have any water on the floor!

Summary: It's a great, lightweight bowl. It's MUCH bigger than I thought it would be, so make sure you know the dimensions. I don't know that it would hold up too well against any critters of the heavyweight or chompy variety. Pros: -Great Price -LARGE bowl -Quality material -Perfect for water Cons -Its sturdy around the rim but gets much thinner down the sides and the bottom is flexible to the touch -Definitely wouldn't use it on an outdoor concrete-like surface, the bottom won't hold up to the scraping -A bit light for dry food, especially if you've got a large pet

I love the size of this bowl. With two dogs, I don't have to fill it up near as many times in one day. The only thing that kind of bugs me is that the stainless steel is thinner than other bowls we have had. It works great and doesn't bend or anything just different. Easy to clean and holds lots of water for 2 big dogs!

Exactly what I expected as a replacement. I am very satisfied!

I was searching for a long time for 5 bowls for camping that were light-weight, stack easily, clean easily, could take a beating, affordable, and not too big or small. Well after much investigation and searching this is what I came up with. If they get dropped they won't break, they stack very small, I paid only $15 for 5 bowls and they hold two cups of soup or cereal or whatever. They take up very little room in the camping dishes kit I put together and the weight is barely negligable. These are not too thin or thick and should hold up to many years of abuse. Plus they don't have any paw prints or other pet designs that would give away to other campers that you are technically eating out of a cat chow dish! Why pay more when you don't have to, right?!

Can't beat it for the price! Nice bowl. I was worried there would be printing in the bottom and what that might be (ink or etched) but there is nothing. Just a nice smooth surface. The label was attached with a light adhesive and came off easily with a gentle pull, leaving no residue behind. Gave it good rinse in hot water and it was ready to go. It's the size of a large dinner plate, circumference-wise. Holds enough water for my Golden retriever mix, and two cats,without having to refill it more than once a day (they don't empty it in a day, but I give them fresh anyway-you get the idea).

I really like the size of this bowl (I wanted a water bowl to keep outside for the dog when we're working in the yard) but I'm really disappointed with how flimsy the metal is. I was really surprised to see/feel that I was able to bend the sides and bottom of the bowl with a hard burst of pressure or that a sharp-ish branch would be able to poke through it. I will use it as it is so big and definitely easy to clean, but I will need to be careful with it and make sure to bring it inside when it's empty so that it doesn't blow around and puncture on something.

These are great! They're easy to clean and nest neatly for storage. They're lightweight, which is great for travel, but are holding up well. 3 cup size is perfect for my dog's kibble, it eliminates other members of my family overfeeding them. Definitely loud if your dogs start tossing them around though.

Es un excelente producto vs su costo. Yo lo adquirí para que mis perritos tomen agua, caben hasta 4 simultáneamente al beber. Es un tamaño amplio y súper fácil de limpiar.

el plato llego muy bien como todo, el material si se ve de buena calidad, algunos dicen que es delgado pero esta bien, es muy grande, como para perro talla grande, yo tengo dos razas pequeñas y por eso me anime, me gusta darles agua fresca, pero he ocupado dejarles mas agua de lo habitual, pero eso la compra.

It's a dog food bowl. It's stainless steel so it won't break. I will hurt your ears if your dog drags his bowl around the house and keeps dropping it on the tile floor when he's hungry..... Or maybe that's just my dog that does that? Good little bowl.
