As someone who cannot drill a screw hole in a wall without messing up, I decided, after much online research to order this stand. I am really pleased I did. Recommended. The stand probably weighs around 8-10kg and comes in its own carry case. Assembly is really, really easy (trust me, if I can do it, first time, anyone can). It rests against the wall or door, whereever you place it. It is extremely sturdy and does not shake or wobble. You will need a tape measure to adjust to the correct height, but this is just a case of slight movements of the legs. Mine is in a garage, but the footrests come with little mats or pads, so if you had a posh floor, there will be no marks. As mentioned in other reviews the surrounding is a little flimsy and narrow when compared to the traditional Wimmau surrounds, but unless you had kids playing or you are a pretty poor player, I think they would do the job at protecting your wall. The stand,at around £109 is a little more than other stands, but It takes up little space, is fairly light and has no wobble. I think this makes it worth the money

I absolutely love the idea of this and it packs down really small and is just such a brilliant idea. The carry case feels of good qauilty and the clip in poles just slot in with a little push fit metal clip to provide it slots into the poles and stays secure. The metal backplate has a nice weight to it and avoids having holes or hangers in your walls etc and obviously being completely portable. The two downsides to this great product is the price which I feel is ridiculous for what it is and you don't actually receive a proper surround ring. This one looks the part but it's basically cheap plastic material which clips into place around your dart board. Although the point of the surround is to save your walls etc thus doesn't do that. Your better off buying a proper surround otherwise your be filling the holes in your walls over and over again as the dart just goes straight through the cheap material. This was a major fault with this as the price isn't exactly cheap either considering its a set of 6 metal poles that clip into each other with a metal backing. The nicest feature of this product is the carry case it comes in. Hopefully this is something they can look into as it really let's the product down in my opinion.

Does exactly what is says on the tin. Very sturdy even though we have wooden floors

Does not stand up. Followed instructions perfectly. Instructions were fine. Managed to put together fine. Issue comes with the feet having grip that doesn’t work. They’re consistently sliding and falling over. Keep having to catch the item however have missed it a few times and this has resulted in it completely breaking and breaking the dart board which was on it

Pros: Easy to set up (5-10 minutes) and pretty stable. Holds dartboard well with next to no movement. Used for a good six hour session with no issues. Functionally fine, and would be easy to recommend except: Cons: First off, very expensive for what it is. Not much in the way of sound-proofing. Included 'surround' is extremely thin and won't protect your walls at all. Not compatible with other surrounds, even Winmau Blade branded ones - I've had to wedge my surround in behind it which is fairly shocking considering the price.

About 15-20 minutes and it was assembled and ready for use.

Dartboard stand works better then expected

Ich bin wirklich begeistert von der Stabilität des Winmau Vertex. Der Aufbau ist unkompliziert und in wenigen Minuten erledigt. Besonders praktisch ist die mitgelieferte, hochwertige Tragetasche. Im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Dartständern ist dieses System deutlich überlegen: Kein Verrutschen, keine Höhenverstellung nötig, und die Dartscheibe hängt absolut fest. Dadurch lassen sich die Pfeile problemlos herausziehen, ohne dass sich die Scheibe bewegt oder man befürchten muss, dass sie herunterfällt. Insgesamt ein durchdachtes und sehr solides Produkt, das seinen Preis auf jeden Fall wert ist.

The cardboard-ish dartboard surround included in the stand is very thin and weak, and one piece cracked in half when I tried to attach it to the velcro behind the board. I also could not screw in the two standing rods because the screws wouldn't fit into the socket. The concept of this portable dartboard stand is great, but the build quality I experienced was awful.
