Love these shoes!
55 years old and 250 lbs and anm rough on my feet. I walk alot and carry too much weight around but they are lightweight and very cushiony. Feet dont hurt and have helped my knees as well

Well worth the cost.
Comes with two inserts. One for slippage and fit if needed and one for extra support. I used neither. Sneakers fit perfect and support is nice. I purchased these after much research because I have one bad knee though it is healing well, in part due to these shoes. I walk 3-5 miles a day. From the moment I put these on they were comfortable. I walked 5 miles on both rough terrain, as the town is tearing up side walks and roads for sewer and water line repairs, as well as on our fantastic school rubber track. These are great. No blisters due to rubbing in the usual places like the big toe or heel. The spring wedge indeed works as advertised, absorbing shock and actually feels like a spring in the heel. These appear to be made well, time will tell. I have already put between 70 and a hundred miles on them. If you need a good orthopedic walking shoe/sneaker, try these. They are NOT a running shoe.

Very comfortable
I have “severe” disc issues ( what little is remaining of them ) so I read some reviews and gave these a shot. I stand on my feet for an 8 hour shift on a concrete floor. Worst thing in the world for you and my feet as well as back are not too bad by the end of my shift. The only issue I will say that I experienced is I couldn’t find “slip proof” which are required. Unfortunately I need to wear the covers supplied by work which as you can see don’t fit well.

Very nice shoes
I bought 3 pairs of G-Defy shoes and like them. They are very comfortable and sturdy and last for a long time if you take care of them. I alternate between them so they keep clean and like new. I didn’t see any negative points to say against them. I recommend them to anyone.

I'm a good review
My 11.5 inch men's blue and white walk shoe arrived an hour ago. I'll update the review as I walk more with the shoes. But... I have a lot of shoes... not because I walk a lot, but because I just can't seem to get it right. It's not always about the shoe... it's about old, diabetic and weird feet (bunion, hammer toes... just plain old, though I have the care of a brave pedicurist). First, they were light weight enough. I say enough, because the super, super light ones have a lot of foam in the soles and wear out pretty quickly. This pair of G-Defy's might do that too, but not on the first day (I hope). Next, they laced up nicely. That was a change from all my slip in's and slip-off's and sneaker styles and walk-styles. Though it's a bit more work, I will go through the effort if I can get something that works. Then the insoles. An 11.5 shoe, though perfect and wide, felt as though it needed nothing to improve it. But because of my delicate feet, I decided to put on the othotic insole even though the existing insoles fit nicely. I worked perfectly. I changed the way the laces engaged and am currently walking around the hardwood floors and enjoying the fit and feel. Oh, by the way, I'm wearing socks with them... I don't always do that. For now, a tad better than 5-star perfection! I need to walk on pavement to get a good test though it'll stomp on the warranty. It's good enough to risk keeping it and get that asphalt and cement experience out of the way. I'll know in about a half mile. Later. [Update, 2024-0113 Sat] My right knee is the culprit. I do not yet have any formal medical diagnosis. This G-Defyer works and here is how I know: First, my "man's feet" are so grumpy that I MUST wear something cushy on my bony, no fatty-tissue, old, feet... MUST be cushioned! So, when when walking about without the G-Defyer on, my intermittant right knee may start to holler at me in pain. When it does, it's a sign to wear my knee brace (if one must know, I have diagnosed my own knee ailment to something gone stupid in the femoral-patella region of the right knee). Once the "owie" starts, it's pretty regular until I get the brace on... and then I'm usually OK after that. If I'm wearing tighter long legged pants, I wear the brace externally... it looks bad, but looking bad is better than walking in pain. All this to say that, once the pain starts, I put on the G-Dfyer and the pain goes away. My conclusion, and the reason for this update... the shoe works! I can honestly say that, wearing the G-Defy's, I have yet to have a knee pain "incident". That's it... pain relief is not a theory for me.

Just what I was looking for!
I work in autobody on a concrete floor and I always get incredible foot and knee pain. The only shoes that ever helped my feet were shape-ups for men for work. Since they were discontinued I have been trying to find something even remotely close to them without any luck. I took a chance on these because they seemed to have a similar sole style. I will say that these are the best shoes I have found yet. If you look at my pic it will show that these soles are thick and rounded, although very lightweight. The roundness takes the pressure off the ball and heel of my foot and distributes it to the arch with very good arch support. These are great for walking long distances and standing for long periods of time, maybe not for running. I recommend these shoes and will buy them again.

Super comfort but very low quality
These shoes are one of the most comfortable shoes I've owned. I'm a school custodian and on my feet moving 7.5 hours out of a 8 hour shift. I struggled with constant foot pain and after a few days my pain was almost completely gone. The problem with these shoes is the quality in materials and construction is greatly lacking. within a few weeks of use, there was already noticeable wear on the soles and after the first month the cloth on top around the ankle wore through and the interior foam exposed. Now at only six months the sole on both shoes has separated from the upper part and is flopping with every step. the sides around the toe has also worn through on both shoes. I've had shoes for over 5 years that weren't this badly worn out. I can't wear them to work any more because they look so bad. Not what I expect from $130 dollar shoes. $20 Walmart shoes have better quality. Unfortunately after only 6 months, and against my better judgment, I'm buying another pair only because theses are the only shoes Ive found that elevate my foot pain. I'm struggling to give 3 stars.

Good buy, for feet sole pain.

Like the product and great to wear. Can really tell it's working on my flat foot (no arch) problem

Great bounce and forward lean. Sturdy, durable and comfortable.

I actually stand for 10 hours a day sometimes on these shoes and I don’t feel the pain that much anymore

Runs smaller and shorter then actual size. This shoe hurts my big toe with hallux limitus, and is useless for this condition, Don't buy it if this for your foot issue. It may be more useful for other foot issues. The heel drop is too high.
