Healthy and vibrant
The color was a little more muted than the photo, but lovely. This was a fantastic rose for my cool climate. I planted it in a container and watered and cared for it according to the instructions. My husband insisted it was dead - I told him to just wait. Then, it burst forth with leaves and then many blossoms. I kept it in a shed over the winter according to the growers instructions, and in spring it exhibited new green leaves. However, I think I pulled it out too soon. We had very cold spring temps, and it shriveled. I kept watering it, hoping for a resurrection, but it died. I would not hesitate to get another sometime. Last night a deer ate five roses off of another bush I have, and guzzled the birdbath. Gets a little expensive, but still much less than a bouquet of roses at the florist. ; )

A Lovely Rose But not The Right Color
I'm very happy the Sierra Lady rose bush I purchased is growing and blooming. It is not the color I expected but a live lovely rose any color is delightful.
