My 5 month old French Bulldog puppy REALLY loves this, but it took awhile with lots of patience on my part, encouragement and treats. He understood the treats came from the dispenser and went to it consistently but he was having no part of the button. Day 1 he barked his head off at the foreign orange object (the button) sitting on the floor and barely went close to it. Day 2, he approached, but I couldn’t get him to touch the button. Day 3, he would touch the button, but not hard enough to trigger it. On day 4, I flipped the button over and then there was no stopping him! By day 5, the button was right side up and now I have a treat monster on my hands! Once he hits his treat jackpot two or three times, I then move the button or dispenser to create distance and he runs his little legs off to earn his reward. I’ve used this indoor and outdoor. Next, I’m going to try placing an obstacle tunnel between the two pieces to make it more fun/challenging. The charge on both units is outstanding. It’s easy to load, use and clean. I do wish the tray could be removed. Every once in a while, the dispenser fails to deliver a treat…but I don’t see it as problematic—both dogs look puzzled for a second and will try again. I see this as “problem solving for dogs”. There is a second 3.5 year old dog in the house who weighs about 75 pounds. She also really enjoys this and has no problems getting her rewards from the tray. The larger dog also helped with teaching the puppy how to use the button right side up. This will be great to entertain, stimulate and get both dogs moving during bad weather days, It has also helped with teaching both of them to use other button-based enrichment tools. The only thing that makes my FBD puppy happier than his treats is a stick in his mouth. LOL. All in all, I consider this money well spent—especially if it lasts for a couple of years.

Great toy to get your dog moving a bit to get treats. Our golden loves the toy and learned the button in a couple of different ways to get used to it. We found that the dispenser has to be in the same room as the button because if our dog can't hear the treats fall into the tray, she just keeps hitting the button instead of going to get the treats. With trainer teats being expensive, we use Cheerios with this and it works great. Battery life is good but the button and dispenser don't last the same amount of time we we charge every couple of days.

Great product! It’s so helpful for exercising dogs’ brains and bodies from inside the house. It was very easy to teach my dog how to use the bell and create the association with the food. It’s nice that both the button and the dispenser are easily rechargeable. My only complaints are: 1. It’s not very stable. I need to put the dispenser up against a wall or piece of furniture to keep it in place or else it can fall over when my dog tries to get the food. 2. It’s pretty difficult to clean in the cracks and crevices of this product since it does not easily come apart.

This toy does exactly what it promises—and even comes with some cute little stickers, which was a nice surprise. My dog picked up on the concept pretty quickly, although I will say the instructions aren’t super intuitive. Thankfully, there’s a QR code that helps bridge the gap, and once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty straightforward. It’s definitely sturdy and well-made. The food container isn’t very large, which is actually helpful since it limits overfeeding, but it also means I’m still figuring out how to work it into a daily routine without constantly refilling. Still, watching my dog stay engaged and actually problem-solve is worth it. It’s a bit pricey for what it is, but if it holds up long term, I’d call it a solid investment.

I bought this to keep our incredibly smart and mischievous American Bulldog busy while she recovers from double TPLO surgery. It took her exactly 1 day to learn that pressing the button means a treat, and by the next day we had moved on to having the machine dump out the pieces for her. She gets very excited if the button is on the ground and will paw/scratch at it with vigor, so we adjusted and I hold the button instead so she has to boop it with her nose. The mechanism that dispenses the treats is fairly simply but works great! I like that you can store the button in the top of the device, and the various sounds you can choose for the button are pretty cool. So far the button is holding up to her excitement as is the dispenser. Overall I am very happy with this purchase!

This is the best $40 I've spent in a long time. If you have a sense of humor and a bit of patience, this is a great toy to play with and connect with your pet during the training process. My dog has never been more focused! It took him 6 days of me mostly pushing the button for him before he mastered it! Now I have to take it away because he goes at it like a crackhead and runs out of kibble in a few minutes. Thoroughly impressed by this hysterical little treat robot!

This is cute AF, holds enough for one of my small dog's meals (not much more tho), stays where I put it, and the dog can get the kibble out of the opening at the front with minimal hassle (the machine itself is not eatable, however, as it is made of plastic). It seems well made, though have had it for all of one day. However, it's very frustrating that it doesn't work if it's plugged into the wall - ideally, I'd like it to run off the plug so I don't have to deal with the hassle of recharging it; this anticipated tedious aspect is irritating enough that it knocks this dispenser from five stars to three.

My dog is OBSESSED! He learned very quickly and I love to put the button downstairs and treat dispenser upstairs to get his energy out. The charge lasts for days and I’ve had it for 2+ years now with no issues. The company is super supportive as well
