Great out of the box
Great right out of the box. Installing took less than 15 minutes, everything fit great and my Stihl FS45 started up with one pull and ran great at idle and working speed. It needed zero adjustments. I should have gotten this a long time ago.

Quality part
Great quality. Installed on my Stihl HL45 hedge trimmer and fired right up. Didnโt even need an adjustment out of the box! Fit perfectly.

Really good kit for the money, very inexpensive
Excellent value for the money!!! Kit came with a carb, two gas filters, pickup/return line, gaskets, an air filter, two extra primer bulbs and a spark plug. It went on easy but needed to be adjusted. I used this kit on my Stihl FS 55 weed eater. The plastic funnels around the adjustment screws has to be nipped off with side cutters to accommodate the air filter housing. Highly recommend. Up and running for $10! How is that even possible?

Carb For A Sthil FS45 Replaces A Zuma
Good valve for the cost and a quick delivery. Every season I have to fight with getting my two FS45 weed- eaters up par, but sometimes if they wont co-operate, I remove the carb and soak them in gasoline. Usually this work but on my newer FS45, which I depend the most on to work for me, would not hit a lick. I took it apart several times trying to clean with carb cleaner and silicone but nothing worked. So, a new OEM runs about $40 and looking at this kit and after reading the reviews, decided to give the HUTZL kit a shot. Glad I did. Installed the carb and it cranked right up. The only problem I have is trying to get the carb to idle right. Seems to hunt, cant find any air leaks, at idle but reacts to a wide throttle very well. I'll just have to find the sweet spot for the Low Speed screw. The gaskets (two) the one with the holes on the vertical, goes between the carb and the manifold and the other goes in front of the filter holder. Overall I'm very satisfied with this kit.

Better than OEM, RECOMMENDED!!
PRO - Came quickly, was an exact fit for the Stihl FS-46, installed in 20 minutes, fired right up, minor adjustment, complete tune up, new spark plug, fuel line, filters, trimmer roars like new, instant throttle response ๐. CON - No instructions, 8mm nut driver required to remove carburetor, I DID NOT GET THIS SOONER. Not a difficult repair at all. I give it a rating of 2 wrenches ๐ง๐ง. Take time to go and watch tutorials on YouTube, there are many. Take a minute to clean and degrease your machine. Prevent contamination from dirt. Get an 8mm nut diver as the bolts are nestled in and tough to get at. Dump the old fuel, start with fresh ETHANOL FREE FUEL, and the Stihl 2 cycle oil. Also remove and clean the spark arrestor, it get clogged with carbon over time. Just burn it off with a butane lighter, or a torch. Easy. The Stihl tools are made to run at full speed, this will help keep carbon fouling to a minimum. If you do not plan to use it for more than a couple of weeks, put the fuel back in the fuel can. Dump it and run till dry. I might add this is the first tune up for 12 years, other than air filter. Oh one more thing, there is fuel in the new carb from testing, do not be surprised when fitting the fuel line. RECOMMENDED
