Perfect birthday present for my wife. She is a huge Dexter fan and has never even seen these before. She is so happy. Give here books and she is in her happy place. This is a complete series and she said they are pretty graphic. Worth every penny!!

I loved the dexter series(and still do) so i just HAD to get the books and as soon as my package arrived i immediately put the rest on display and started reading Darkly Dreaming Dexter. I read a chapter and i cant wait to finish all the books. So far they are amazing and if you like Dexter and if you are able to buy them then this is your sign to buy them

If you enjoy the first book in the series, just buy all the rest and save a some money. That's what I did, and I have no regrets about it. I love the show, but I must say the books are slightly better - particularly they are funnier. The author has a great sense of humor, and if you enjoy the show, you will surely enjoy these books!

Great condition. All new. No damage. Glad with my purchase. So far so good. I’m on book two in a matter of four days. Some scenes you can relate to the show but for the most part it is very different. Which isn’t bad if you have an imagination. Because it’s like watching extra show in your head if things played out differently. Also gives you more of an insight of what goes on in Dexters head. There are some grammar and spelling issues that I have spotted which annoy me. But not enough to make me hate the books. And I probably only caught it because I read so much. I am very much Looking forward to the next book. ***UPDATE*** I am now on book 5. Like I said the books are different from the show. And in reading the books I have honestly come to appreciate how much of an effort and how talented the script writers of the show truly are. The books are not bad. They do seem to depict Dexter as a weaker individual then the show portrays him to be. Which I do not personally Like. But The stories are fairly well put together even if some are not as realistic as they should be. Honestly I feel is the book one and book for are my favorites so far. But everyone is different. I do recommend these books still they are a very interesting read and I honestly believe that they bring a certain appreciation to the writers of the show which as an artist is truly important. The books are not bad just be mindful that they are a bit different there is very few similarities but it is fun to spot them out so again I do recommend these books and I hope that you enjoy them.

Gift and she loved them, but they were loose books. Packaged well. But I don’t remember if the listing said anything about being a boxed set. That is my fault for not checking. If it doesn’t say boxed set, I would argue that the picture is deceptive to that end. About a week after I ordered these the price dropped pretty significantly, so that was very disappointing as well.

I love them

8 books, all new covers, well packed, quick delivery — I liked it a lot. Though the last one, Dexter Is Dead, has typographical issues. The font is different from the other books, 5 dots in the end of the sentence instead of 3, and at the very end, the text cuts off, leaving several blank pages. It feels like the book is unfinished, though I assume there's something like "the end" there. Because of this, my impression of the last book is a little bit mixed. That aside, I really love this set, and the price on Amazon UK was amazing. The books were delivered to Ukraine via NP Shopping (Amazon ships to their UK warehouse, and from there to Ukraine). It was much cheaper than buying the full series locally and incredibly fast — the whole set arrived at my door in just 8 days. Highly recommend!
