Looks natural! Great for wig wearing!
I had been using a powder to conceal my grays around the temples when wearing my brunette wigs. It was ok but the powder would color the skin as well and the hair fibers wouldn’t stand out like natural hairline should. The Topik is so much better! It coats the hair fibers only and not your skin so the hairline looks much more natural. The sponge helps with blending and smoothing. It dries quickly with no mess! Wish I knew about this sooner since the powder concealer was not cheap. This is a great deal for a great product!

Quick Cover-Up and Fill-in!
#Ad This product works well to create a fuller hairline and it also covered up any grey hairs. The instructions are easy to follow. I’m just 3 simple steps I was able to get it done in less than 5 minutes. I used the dark brown shade. My hair is naturally a darkish brown/black but the filler was a little too light for me. It still got the job done.

Try It
Buy it. Get it a shade darker than you think you need.I love the formula of the Toppik Fill Me in Hairline Filler, but I hate the dumb mascara applicator. You might be like me, looking for the best solution to cover balding patches. My hair keeps getting thinner, and it has made me very self-conscious. So, I hide it.Here is what I’ve tried: scalp powder in my shade applied with a small brush - like eyeshadow, almost. It sort of camouflaged, but it was not water resistant or greatly effective. (Joan Rivers Great Hair Day Fill-In Powder). Then I found a cake type of color that uses a dampened sponge tip applicator, and it was pretty good, but my hair started thinning at my hairline too, and the cake stuff wasn’t great for hiding that. The product goes a long way, good value. (DermMatch) I still use it as a foundation of sorts for the next thing I tried, loose hair fibers shaken onto the scalp, which is super messy, but effective, especially with the previously mentioned DermMatch. Again, hair fibers aren’t good for the hairline. Out of the three hair fibers I’ve tried, GBG, Toppik & Boldify, Boldify is my go to.Fast forward to finding this product, Toppik Fill Me In Hairline Filler. The mascara wand is an ineffective and messy way to apply the product, the wand gets caught on the length of my hair and makes it kind of crusty, and it’s near impossible to wipe it out of the hair. However, it camouflages my skimpy hairline really well. So I used the little sponge tip on the end of the wand and dabbed it a little behind my hairline and used one finger to rub it in and around. It’s time consuming, but it works AND it stays put! No makeup or hair fibers dirtying my forehead. So, this is now part of my routine. I do my hairline with this item, use the DermMatch for the balding area on top of my head and then fill in with the Boldify. Yeah, costly and time consuming, but my self-esteem is worth it.

Disappointing
I have been using Toppik products for many, many years. One of the reasons I decided to try this hairline filler was because I was hoping for something a little less messy as the fibers get absolutely everywhere. The biggest issue I had with it, was the way it made my hair feel. I touch my hair a lot throughout the day as it tangles super easily and I have to fix it often. The product gets all over my hands, even if I after one touch after letting it dry. I bought the dark brown one and it didn’t really seem dark enough either. One thing I did find semi useful, was that it worked well for flyaway hair or little frizzies. But honestly, you could probably just used clear mascara or a serum for that. Unfortunately for me, it was a waste of money.

Works, but kinda messy
It works, but it’s pretty messy. I got it all over my fingers.

Perfect doluyiin
Love it! Using after I wash my hair and it stays til the next wash. Hairline is thinning but not visible any longer. Even covers a little grey at the roots. Don’t ever want to be without!

Good for light thinning
This is great if your hair is thinning lightly. When I pull my hair back in a ponytail, the front looks very thin so this helps hide some of that. It’s really easy to use and looks natural. You have to get used to how much to use and wear to blend it but it definitely works.

Not good for thin hair
My hair is thinning near my forehead, which is also where my worst roots grow in. The wand is sticky, but coverage was there. But the rounded part just made my scalp totally black (I have light skin). I washed and retried a few different methods but same result each time. And hard to wash out. Just didn’t like it.

Good for thinning hair also
This is great for covering grey hair and also filling in spots for balding or thin hair. You need a little bit of the product and the little sponge on it helps blend it out. I get great use out of it

Not What I Expected — Clumpy and Noticeable
I bought the Topik Fill Me In Hairline product after seeing it used by an influencer, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations. I found that it was clumpy and didn’t blend easily into my natural hairline. No matter how I applied it, it always looked very noticeable, and it was obvious I had used something to fill in my hairline. For the price, I was hoping for a more natural look and smoother application. Unfortunately, I won’t be using this again and wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for something that blends seamlessly.

Not impressed - doesn’t work for me
Not sure if I got an old outdated item as it felt like that - thick and clumpy. Didn’t find it easy to use at all won’t purchase again and I don’t recommend.
User
Thick
Too thick like mascara for hair
User
Nope
Looks greasy and just a mess to use. Save yourself the trouble. Go buy dry shampoo for brunettes if you have brown or black hair. Not messy, not greasy and easier to apply.
