Very well made and extremely comfortable. Supports the body in all the right places and allows a level of adjustment that should pretty much satisfy anyone. I've bought a fair number of office chairs over the years, some cheaper, some costing far more, but considering the relatively low cost of this one, plus the comfort level, I think this is the best one so far. Another bonus, really easy to put together!

Great chair..very comfy..was worried it would be difficult to put together but it's honestly so easy in around "8 steps" it's fully complete! Very clear diagrams in instruction booklet...and trust me....I am no DIY expert at all!! Comes with spare screws and the included Allen key is all you need. Looks expensive but only cost me £67.00 from Amazon. The hardest part for me was upon delivery, getting to my flat on 3rd floor, though there was a lift..it was heavier than I actually thought!. The base of the chair is solid metal and sturdy, the handles on the chair are plastic but don't let that put you off, it's very very robust. The casters move very freely across the carpet if needed. I'm actually considering buying another already!

After about 12 years with my old chair, the seat had compressed so much that I was virtually sitting on wood! This of course resulted in rather uncomfortable lower back pain; I decided the time for a new chair had come, so I ordered this one. My chair arrived the next day, and was very well packaged in a sturdy cardboard box (although there was a little chip on the silver of the left arm), all that was left to do was to check everything was there, and assemble it. I checked the components, all was present and correct, in fact I even had a spare wheel, I suspect unintentionally. All the components looked to be pretty good quality and the installation instructions seemed easy enough to follow; in fact, except putting the back on the chair, installation was a doddle. In the one I received, despite following the instructions to the letter, the back was a job getting on because the holes didn't quite line up perfectly; get one in and you would have to push and squeeze to get the other one in. It took me about as long, if not longer, to get the back on as it had to assemble the rest of the chair to that point. Another point worth mentioning, it is easy to put the arm rests on the wrong way, just make sure that the flat side with the L or R on (depending on the side of the chair) is the bit that goes against the seat. Anyway, eventually once the back finally had all four screws loosely in, I set about tightening all the screws on the back and arms, assembled it looked nice. I just had to add the covers to conceal the screws. These fitted OK over six out of the eight screws, but would not stay in place on the top screw of each arm (I suspect that this was a result of the misaligned screw holes). The chair seems pretty comfortable, firm but supportive, only time will tell as to whether the seat stays good without compressing too much in a short space of time. I bought the additional three year warranty just in case, it was only just over £6 so seemed worth risking. The wheels roll smoothly on the floor, and are quieter than on my last chair, so that is good. I am 5' 5" and 11 stone, and I fit the chair perfectly, my head can even rest comfortably on the top. Overall, this is a nice chair, and providing it lasts for a good number of years before becoming uncomfortable again I will be happy. If there is one thing I would say, being firmer, does make me feel like I need to get up and stretch my legs a little more often, but then I should be doing that anyway.

Extremely comfortable office chair. It is easy to assemble and well worth the price when it is completed. By far the best office chair I have ever owned.

Great chiar for the money very happy with it realy comfy and very wide , bit of a faff to build but dont tighten any of the screws exept the bottom plate that atachess the seat leave them only on a few threads till you have it all together . Then re tighten after a few days so dont put the screw covers on at first

I've had the SONGMICS Executive Office Chair since October last year, and I must say, it's hands down one of the best office chairs I've ever owned. The quality is fantastic, and it has greatly improved my comfort while working from home. Assembly was a breeze. They provide all the necessary tools, and it took me about 20 minutes to put it together while watching TV. The instructions were clear, and all the parts fit perfectly. The padding on this chair is incredibly comfortable, with a lovely feel to it. The seat area features a breathable material, which is great for long hours of sitting. The high back provides excellent support, and as someone who is 6'3", I was initially worried it wouldn't be tall enough. However, it fits me perfectly and offers great support for my back. The base legs are very strong, and the wheels are heavy-duty, ensuring smooth movement across my office floor. They even provided a spare wheel, which is a thoughtful addition. This chair is incredibly sturdy and feels very strong. There's none of the horrible creaking you get with cheaper chairs. The armrests, although made of plastic, are surprisingly strong. I've read some reviews where people say they break easily, but I suspect those users might be leaning all their weight on them. For resting your arms, they work perfectly fine. The tilt mechanism is smooth, and the height adjustment works great, allowing me to find the perfect position for my desk. For the price, this chair offers excellent value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a durable and comfortable office chair.

After a lot of research, we bought the SONGMICS Office Chair Swivel Office Chair about one year ago because it seemed to be of good quality for a reasonably priced. On the positive side, the chair is very, very comfortable, which is important because it is in use virtually 24 hours a day as a reception chair by various staff. However, two problems soon manifested themselves almost immediately that in hindsight we should have dealt with immediately by returning the chair, and we regret that now. I will deal with the lesser of the two first: 1) There is no adjuster mechanism between the upright and full recline of the back of the chair. So, one has to either sit upright (but note point ‘3’ below) all the time (not ideal for staff who work long shifts) or recline fully as if lying on one’s sofa at home; which gives a bad impression to anyone turning up at the reception desk. This is very irritating but the other problem is driving staff crazy. Everyone is fed up with this office chair: 2) The hydraulic lift is useless (see video). After purchase, within 2 to 3 weeks we started to notice it ‘slipping’. At first, this was very slight (less than 10 cm) and intermittent. And then gradually got worse and worse and worse. And now, for the last 3 or 4 months, as soon as you raise it to the maximum lift and sit on it, the seat does one of two things. It either (1) immediately slips down about an inch and stays there, or [2] it immediately slides down till it cannot go any further. At first this fast descent took around half an hour to creep down to the lowest level. Now it is intolerable. It takes only 5 to 10 seconds to sink from the highest height to the lowest level. So naturally one pulls it up again and sits down and it immediately slides to the bottom again. You can repeat this as many times as you like and the same thing happens. So, most staff tend to save themselves the hassle of pulling up and just leave at the lower level. This of course makes working uncomfortable because we are now much lower than the desk, which makes typing difficult. 3) In fact, there is a third point of complaint. The photo shows the back of the chair in an upright 90-degree position. The reality however is (at least the chair we got) that instead of being upright the back of the chair is about 30 degrees reclined (see video)! If you are sitting upright and want your back to rest against the back of the chair you would have to lean back about 30 degrees for your back to touch the back of the chair. So it is as if you are sitting on a comfortable stool or bench rather than an office chair. The bottom line is that this chair offers no support for your back until you lean back into the seat at about a 30-degree angle, which is not good for typing. Based on our experience, would I or any of our staff recommend you buy this office chair: HELL, NO WAY! As I said we did a lot of research before choosing it. We thought we were getting an amazing chair for a good deal. But we got caught out by 1) the photo of someone sitting upright on the chair at 90 degrees, and 2) watching the impressive video about the chair’s manufacture and testing. (How good can that testing be if the seat starts slipping within one or two weeks after purchase!) In effect we have tested this chair for about a year now so can confidently say that if they fix these three problems then they will have an excellent office chair that is worth the price, but right now save yourself a lot of frustration and find another office chair to spend your money on.

I received the chair this afternoon. The parcel is not as heavy as you might expect. Assembling it was very easy. The allen key you need is included although if you have a small socket set with ratchet and allen keys this will certainly be easier and quicker to use. The individual items are clearly marked and labelled and the instructions could not be simpler or clearer. Unlike some self assembly office chairs this is a one person job and should only take 15 minutes. The assembled chair is fine. Obviously I can't comment on its durability. It's one of the cheapest office chairs out there but it doesn't have any obvious fault and is perfectly acceptable. I notice it's just a little shorter and less broad than the ancient wreck of a chair which it replaced but it's still fine for me; I'm about 5'10 (1.78m) and wide and heavy and have no complaints. I'm pleased with it and can easily recommend it to anyone who might not usually be confident with self assembly. edit: September 2024. Sooner or later you need to replace the gas lift cylinder on office chairs. This one wore out far too soon and was clearly a low quality item. Typically, knocking the cylinder out of an office chair base is simple and easy: a couple of good hard taps with a small lump hammer or claw hammer and it pops out. Not this one. It disintegrated into its component parts and the place where struck spread like butter! This is really the lowest quality. The worst. Trash. Fortunately I also had an older chair of reasonable quality ready to be used for parts so was able to cannibalise and make good. From the SONGMICS chair bought in in 2021 I've had to replace the base, the wheels, the cylinder and the base plate! I'm just lucky I could source the parts at no or minimal cost. The quite comfortable cushioned seat survives but the padding on the arms has flattened and the *very* thin pleather covering is crumbling. I'll not be buying Songmics ever again, it's really poor. My advice is to forget these cheap chairs and get something better.

Poza problemem z dostawą. Jestem zadowolony z kupna. Miałem wiele krzeseł biurowych/gamingowych, mniej lub bardzie wypasionych ale prostota tego krzesła i wygoda w porównaniu do gamingowych foteli przy 1/4 ich ceny jest atrakcyjna.

Just don't buy this chair. Quality is like 1/10...

Montage ultra simple en 20 mn en prenant son temps. 2 roulettes et des visses de rechanges sont prévues en plus. Le simili cuir est d'excellente qualité et moelleux à souhait. Le système de basculement arrière est linéaire et très doux permettant d'ajuster la position au millimètre. Le repose pied est parfait, allongé il est difficile de ne pas faire la sieste. Le repose tête est parfait pour moi, 1m70 et 80 kgs. Attention, il y a trois modèles ... le OBG76B sans le repose pied, le OBG 75B et celui-ci le OBG 71B. Regardez bien les dimensions ... C'est le 71B qui monte le plus haut, c'est ce que je recherchais, et qui par ailleurs est moins cher que le OBG75B. Je l'utilise pour un bureau avec écran (32 pouces) à la maison. Excellent rapport qualité / prix pour ce fauteuil que je vous recommande les yeux fermés.
