I love this walking stick it does stand on its own it has a comfortable handle and you don't have to buy a right or left handed one as this is useful for either side I wished I had bought it before buying the other 2 sticks

Love this! A gorgeous colour that is easy to spot, if you forget where you've put it. It's a nice weight to carry. I feel safe using it, it doesn't skid on shiny floors and is very sturdy. Great value for money

Bought for my elderly, frail mother. This stick feels very sturdy and the handle is very secure feeling, not slippy like some she has tried. She likes that it has a loop to slip over her wrist so she can keep hold of it in case she drops or knocks it, but it does stand on its own even on a carpet. So far she has only used around the house, but is very happy with it and would recommend. Personally I love the bright, shiny purple colour. The finish is very good and for me it is quite easy to pull apart to fold, but mum is not strong enough to do that. It is very stable in use.

I bought this to aid my stability rather than for any injury. Having a balance disorder, I am quite unsteady on my feet sometimes so I thought this might help. Its very important to understand that - as I believe its stated in the item description- this is not designed to take your full weight and more to be an assist. This is a very sturdy cane and the wide foot design means it's excellent for someone like me as it gives a great sense of stability. The Amazon item description states it can take a lot more than I weigh but as it is collapsible I would hesitate to put my full weight on it just in case.
