I have read the other reviews prior to purchasing this great product. So, I am taking the other reviews into account. If you are looking at this product then you know what it is and what it does, so I don't need to explain it. The bag is professionally made and looks really good. It's strong and durable which means that you can throw it around without any worries. The weight comes from weighted sandbags inside the product (there is a strong foam cylinder inside that holds the sandbags). The bags are double bagged within a plastic bag and then a cloth bag sealed with Velcro. Yes, this is a complete product as the bags and sand all come as a part of the product. There are criticisms about the sand bags in other reviews. I found the sand was slightly damp, but it is double bagged (sealed plastic bags inside Velcro sealed material bags) which ensure there is no damage to the product. The only issue I found was that some of the plastic bags had tape around them and some didn't. This means that when you throw the bag around there is a danger that the plastic bags could split (one of them had). But I replaced the bag with a freezer bag added some tape put it back into the material bag and it was sorted out. This is a great product, well made and designed and well worth the money. Very happy with this product.

This is a great bag, came with 2 size of internal filling bags for 30&50lbs, very well constructed and nice finish to it. Particularly impressed built the inner bags as had sand leaks on previous ones but should be ok with this one. Recommend that you fill with dry kiln sand vs builder sand, but either is good. Great for a variety of exercises particularly lunges.

Extremely high quality adjustable strength training sandbag by RDX. Item has very robust quality about it with strong stitching and multiple handles. I purchased the 25 to 75 lbs bag which came with 2 internal sand bags (50 & 25 lbs) which require filling. The internal bags are made from the same high quality material. Great addition to my home gym. Very happy with this purchase.

First up, I think that this is a decent bit of kit. The bag appears sturdy and well made. So, why not 5 stars? Well, it is all about the sandbags inside; if you haven't already realised, the weight is made up of a number of cloth bags filled with sand placed inside the padded bag. I had seen several reviews saying that their sandbags had been wet, so I was looking for this as I unwrapped the very well packed parcel. Once I had opened the bag to reveal the contents, it was evident that mine were also wet; not dripping wet, but pretty damp. It makes sense really, as I imagine the company has large containers of sand from which the bags are filled and I would hazard a guess that these are stored somewhere where moisture can penetrate. As the weather was unseasonably hot, I took out all nine bags (25kg bag) and laid them out to dry, along with the main bag. Once dry, I took the opportunity to have a look inside the sandbags and once I had opened the robust Velcro fastening, inside was a plastic ziplock bag. Being a bit fussy, I checked all the bags and in six of the nine the ziplock bags were not sealed meaning that some sand had spilled into the cloth bag. I took the time to tidy this up, reseal the bags and used some insulating tape to ensure that stayed shut. I didn't have a major issue with this but I think that the seller would be well advised to insert a note suggesting that the bag is checked in the way that I have described.

Having researched the different weight training products available, I identified that a sandbag trainer was the most suitable for my needs. As a result of the positive reviews I settled on the RDX sandbag and purchased the 25kg version. The initial product I received had some water damage (okay these things happen) so I contacted the seller. I was extremely pleased to receive a prompt and helpful reply from the seller within five minutes of my e-mail being sent (at 19.43hrs), extending their apologies and that customer happiness and satisfaction were important to them. Within the hour I received a follow up e-mail from the seller informing me that a replacement unit was being dispatched. The replacement item arrived, which I have now used half a dozen times. The bag itself is of good quality, cylindrical in shape, with a hollow foam lined core that contains 10 individual sand bags. These can be removed or added to reach the desired weight for the workout. The bag incorporates a combination of handles, allowing for both wide and narrow grip for the permutations of static strength, and circuit style straining it can be used for. In summary I am extremely pleased with the bag, and the excellent customer service I’ve received throughout. The five stars awarded are thoroughly deserved, and I would highly recommend this product.

I've changed my review after being contacted by customer service. I've received a refund after my bag had ripped, I also had a option of receiving a quality checked bag. Even though I might have been unlucky with my purchase I'm satisfied with my purchase and how quick and understanding the reaponse from customer service was. Im sure the bag is great quality, just wouldn't advise to use it on hard/uneven surfaces for dragging exercises, its great for carries and lifts otherwise. The weight distributiin is great. Customer service 10/10

You’re only limited by your imagination in how to workout with this very versatile bit of kit. I’ve got the one insert version then I get the 3x insert version. Really robust, well made and well designed. Doubt anyone serious about fitness would regret this purchase. As a side note, to other reviews, it’s meant to be a bit unstable, plopping, otherwise youd just use weights. The instability will help develop stabilising muscles

UPDATE: After posting the review below, the seller got in contact with me straight away and replaced the faulty sandbag with a new one. I haven't had a chance to try the new one yet but I am optimistic because these bags feel like really good quality - which is why I was so surprised when the first one ripped. Either way, the seller gets 5 stars for excellent customer service. I'll leave it at an average 3/5 stars until I've had a chance to try the new bag and verify the quality. (Original review: Appalling quality. I thought I had done my research and when I received this bag, it looked and felt pretty good. However, on its second use, it ripped along the end, see photos. It's only filled with 35 kg of sand and it's meant to be able to hold 90 kg. So I'm pretty sure it would never have held 90 kg. If you're looking for a good quality bag that will hold a decent amount of weight for sandbag training, this is NOT it. If it wasn't too late to apply for a refund, I most certainly would have. So disappointing. To the seller: if I've received a faulty bag, please correct this by sending me a new one and I will update this review. If not, this is just a scam.)

Beställde en 25kg power bag 10 januari. 27 januari fick jag ett paket som innehöll en t-shirt istället för min power bag. Sjukt besviken och undrar vad den här säljaren håller på med.

this thing is very well built. super tough! the fabric is extra thick and the handles and straps are as well. they feel like seat belt material - very strong. the zipper is on the side and it is kinda difficult to load it with sand, but thats why they give you smaller bags to use. i didnt use the extra smaller bags though because i want to fill every available space with sand and pea gravel and the smaller bags leave empty space in the big bag. I put 2 bags of pea gravel in mine using a heavy duty construction bag as a liner. I am talking about the woven fabric kind of bags you get at lowes - not the thicker trash bag type. when these 2 bags of pea gravel are compacted it only takes up about half the space and weighs 90 pounds. i plan to fill the rest of the bag tonight. I wish they designed it to load from the end, but that's not a deal breaker. I love all the handles -- makes it easier to workout with - very functional. I think it could easily hold 150-180 pounds and i highly doubt it will ever rip or tear. Loved the price too!

This is a decent bag for the price. However, 7 months in, the inner bag's stitching has come out by 50%. It was double-stitched. Now it's single-stitched, and has started leaking a fair amount of dust through the compromised seam. Next time I think I'll order from Goruck and leave the cheaper bags behind. Buy cheap and end up spending more in the long run. Buy somewhat expensive but better quality and you won't be constantly replacing equipment.
