Now and again I get a wild urge to try a different art form. When that happens, I know myself - I'll try it for roughly 4 nanoseconds, then hate what I'm doing and give up. (I am a wealth of what not to do.) Due to this, I try to not invest heavily in art supplies until I know I'm into it - then the sky's the limit and all addiction issues celebrate. When I decided I wanted to try acrylic painting - like with real paints in tubes, not the Apple craft bottles - I happened upon this set and was intruiged. It has a nice mix of paints, brushes, a sponge, and knife. The carrying case for the brushes is a nice touch. And as silly as it sounds, I've always been smitten by fan brushes, so that's what sold me on it. The brushes have a nice, smooth feel, like they're eager to work with me and the paint, with handles long enough to balance well but not be weird. It arrived in a box, with the case of brushes, box of paints, and very cheerful note from the vendor inside. I'm pleased with this purchase, though I haven't tried the paints yet, and will update as I work with it more. The vendor contacted me upon making the purchase, which was also a nice touch.

This art set is amazing. I am a true beginner and this is my first real set of acrylic paints and brushes. I love the colors! For a beginner, this set is great. I’m definitely going to need to buy more colors (particularly white) but this set does have all you need to do basic art. The paintbrushes are surprisingly high quality and I love that it includes a palette knife. Overall, this is an excellent set for a beginner and I highly recommend it.

This is a very sturdy set for the price paid for it. The brushes aren’t too harsh but are still just stiff enough to give great precision. The paint is good quality for the price also, acrylic is hard to make and hard to pigment so for the price is is very well worth it to get a collection started. Had to give up painting 2 years ago when my daughter was born and decided it’s time to start again so this was perfect to build my collection back up

Great starter kit for the price and quality of paint. I do wish the tubes of paint were larger, because I didn't realize how small each tube actually is. The brushes seem to be of decent quality as well as the paint itself goes on smoothly and doesn't dry too quickly. These work great in combo with washable paints as well. I actually used these to paint over washable paint on a canvas, and the blind extremely well. I wish the tubes were sold separately in a larger bottle or tube. Overall, a very nice set of brushes and paint for those just starting out in the painting world.

We got this set for our 11 year old daughter for Christmas. She absolutely loves it! She paints on canvases a lot and she loved the quality of the paint brushes as well as the paints. There were lots of different sizes of brushes for her to use for her art work. The brushes were easy for her to clean. There were lots of different color paints and were easy to work with. We would definitely recommend this set for anyone who likes to paint.

For the amount you are spending VS what you get - IT IS A WIN WIN WIN situation. this travel bag and brushes are incredible, I have used these many many times now and I can not believe they keep coming back to life, and I put them thru hell literally everyday. This kit will be traveling with me to an art show, I will be live painting all day. I have the confidence in this set to last me all day. Now lets get the the 24 pack sample tubes of the paint, it is thick and drys fast. however, this is what you want in your acrylics. ABSOLUTE MUST BUY FOR ANY ARTIST - THANK YOU SO MUCH

I purchased this set to get more accent colors to supplement a much more expensive set with only 6 colors from a craft specialty store. I was expecting the quality to be lesser, more like what you get from a generic big box store, but was surprised to see that these hold their body and pigment quite well when blending. Smooth and buttery. The brush set is really nice also. This was a much better value and better quality product than the main set I purchased from the craft store. Will buy again and would recommend.

I am not a real artist so I cannot offer a in-depth review as to the quality of the paint but I will say the packaging was excellent and the brushes seem to be good quality. I was able to get all that is in the picture for $18 which is a incredible value! The extra time to send a Thank You card is always a plus!! Thank you So much!!

This two piece set is just amazing. This brush set comes in it's own case and in my opinion as a artist they are very high quality (professional level) The paints are also high quality with a great range of colours and are a nice size. I would highly recommend this product and I will definitely be buying more from this shop again.

I used to love art but haven’t painted anything in years, this was the perfect set for getting started again, I used it to paint my windows for Christmas. I loved the colours and selection of brushes, the case is so handy.

For what you get for the price, the quality of the brushes is excellent. The paint mixes OK too. I only knocked a star off because so far, I've only painted on wood log slices so can't yet comment on how the brushes perform on canvas but so far - so good.

Bought for my daughter as a christmas present and ahe is so inlove with them. I love the fact that you get a nice starter set for someone who love art. Will definitely be buying from this company again. Brushes have a nice feel to them.
