Ehh could be better
If you don’t put sand or bricks inside your weight bags, the stand will be very flimsy and could fall. But besides that it is a good stand, just a little cheaply made for the price being paid.

Pick another one. This was frustrating.
I was so excited about this step-and-repeat scaffold after seeing the great reviews including pics. I brought it to my non-profit's gala, and began to set it up. Looked nice and things started off great. One of the screws was too thick, though, so I could only secure 3 of 4 corners. I enlisted a bunch of folks to help me, and eventually we tried moving the different screws around figuring maybe one was different? but they were not, so we used a lot of tape and some weights to get it to stand for a few hours for our event. The top horizontal bar dipped in the middle - the background was not very heavy! - and then, when it came time to break it down, multiple pieces were nearly impossible to unscrew - and one of them would not unscrew and I had to drive home with it sticking out the window. I'm also annoyed because I offered to show Amazon photos / videos so I wouldn't have to mail it back (why am I mailing back a broken item?!) but they insisted, so now I have to find a huge box... just a totally unnecessarily annoying experience. Buy a different one. I'm going to!

Descent backdrop stand. Very easy to set up.
This is a descent backdrop stand. Very easy to set up. I own a photo booth business and all my backdrop are 10x10 and this stand system is able to hold and support them all. I bought this stand for the purpose of a step and repeat backdrop only. If it can hold and support my 10x10 backdrops, this stand will easily hold all 6x6 to 8x8 backdrops. It’s very sturdy. This stand doesn’t bow or bend in the middle. The only issue I encountered was one of the cross rod end caps wasn’t tightly manufactured and came loose. I immediately contacted the seller and they’ve been extremely responsive and helpful.

Got stuck less than a month after sitting on the same room
EDIT: I used oil on a napkin to put between the telescope screws. And then I found I have large enough pliers to help me unscrew it. It worked. Nothing is broken. Also on the bright side: this is way lighter than a screen divider, and I love that I can push it easily. I did add some sturdy floor sliders underneath the legs. original review: I was able to put together the frame with relative ease. During the past month, everything went smoothly. I do have a minor wish, though – it would be great if the background fabric could be more conveniently fitted around the frame's edges. I attempted to increase the frame's size, but unfortunately, one of the expansion screws became misaligned and is now stuck. While the rest of the screws are easily adjustable, I'm currently limited to widening the frame, not raising its height. This situation has left me feeling quite disappointed. Similar to numerous others, I found that the frame's functionality was short-lived. I doubt this frame would hold up for more than two or three setups, especially for those who need to repeatedly assemble and disassemble it from scratch.

Not as sturdy as I had hoped
I have a 10' canvas tarp banner. While the footings are great, the cross members are not strong nor sturdy enough to support a 10' banner. I had to fold the banner and collapse the cross members in order to properly support the banner.

Easy setup.
Setup is easy and the stand is sturdy enough for my needs. It also works well in the limited space I have in my studio. It sits closer to the wall than a stand with tripod legs. It’s also easy to move to another room without taking it apart when I need a larger space to shoot.
