Excellent unit - well engineered -works very well.
Excellent unit - well designed - compact and folds up easily - Three pressure "settings" which cover most applications - all accessories have a place to store on unit so less chance of losing them.! Easy to dose with detergent (if car cleaning) (uses detergent very quickly..!). Only gripes (small ones!) - storing plug and pressure pipe is not easy, especially if the pressure pipe is cold - not that flexible - both very small issues - not deal breakers.! Great value.

Great machine
Seems to be a good machine. We used it for the first time yesterday and it worked well and cleaned the front driveway. Seems powerful and has a circular motion which makes the job a little easier. All in all .. does what it says on the box. Very pleased

Worth buying
Having used this for the first time today I was fairly impressed. I used it in conjunction with chemicals i had applied previously on my patio to kill moss. I then used it with the aquasurf patio attachment (more about this in that review) before using the lance. I could have just used the power hose but I find that the chemicals , in particular, help with moss.Firstly, I chose this because I have limited storage space and I am impressed with the size for the power of the unit. The cleaning power is good but in hindsight I would have preferred a more powerful machine. I can't complain about that though as I chose the model with the pressure as advertised and generally I would say the pressure is fine. On the upside, because of the size of the model it was much easier to move around that an earlier machine I had when connected to power and water. The water connection is via a plastic filter which you screw on. I note that you can separately buy a metal one which makes me wonder about the vulnerability of the plastic filter. That said, I don't intend throwing the washer around so hopefully no problem.I often buy Bosch equipment and find that it is good value for money with a solid build but there is a definite premium in pricing for Bosch. Overall, I would recommend this power washer

Powerful, compact and flexible.
Having had cheaper pressure washers before and them not lasting long (motors packing up, lances leaking which cost as much or more to replace than buying a new unit), I thought I would go with a more well known brand. After having a bad experience with Karcher I was looking at Bosch or Nilfisk. This one was on offer from Amazon (half price) so I plumped for it. Bargain. The unit comes with a 3 in 1 head which gives you a pencil jet (thin & powerful), Rotating jet which is like the pencil but it moves around in a circular motion and the standard fan (this is the least powerful to be gentler on items like your car). This head is extremely handy as you have no changing of heads for the different types, you just twist the end into the selected jet position. You also get a detergent dispensing bottle/jet - the jet on this is of a fan type as well. I used this attachment with some Autoglym polar blast pre-wash snow foam and it foamed pretty good. The bottle in my opinion is rather small and is used up in the space of a minutes use. There is no control to make the mixing faster or slower which would have been nice. Over all I was happy with the performance though, the bottle lasted (just) to cover my 4x4 in foam. The power cords is about 5m in length, the wand hose is 7m in length which is decent for a pressure washer. The lance is in 3 parts which store in clips on either site. They fit together by a push and twist connection. I found the 3 in 1 head quite stiff to push on but it does go and I suppose it is more likely to prevent leaks than if it was a little more loose. One part I am not a big fan of is the connectors for the pressure hose. They are push fit which is fair enough but when you have finished using the washer you have a tab that you need to push to the side to release the connection. If there is any water pressure at all in the pipe then these tabs are extremely hard to push to release the connection. I had to use something to lever the tab to release the pipe connector. Next time I will make sure that I empty as much of the air/water from the pipe before trying to disconnect the pipe! One feature that may be of use to some is the 'self priming' facility. To use this you need to buy the self priming kit, it does not come with this as standard. It allows you to use non mains water supplies like a water butt, bucket etc to supply the water. The kit is essentially a pipe with a filter & back flow suppressor that you connect to the machine and submerge the other end into your water source. I doubt I would ever need/use this but you never know and I can see the usefulness for some situations where a mains tap is not available. It also actually compacts down quite small. The handle moves down (like a lot of washers) but it also folds back so the total height is the height of the main body.A word of advice: Bosch have two fitting types for their accessories and buying them is a minefield. There are 'AQT' fittings and 'Aquatek'. Although this is an Aquatek model do not get Aquatek accessories. This washer takes the newer AQT type fittings (they are the same as Black & Decker pressure washer connections). I bought a show foam gun from a local shop so I was able to take my lance in to check the fitting. The Aquatek will not engage fully as there is a collar stopping the accessory going all the way in. The Black & Decker/AQT fitting worked perfectly. If you register on the Bosch website within 28 days you also receive a full 3 year Bosch guarantee. The downsides I see are small overall which is why I gave it 5 stars and recommended.

Excellent product and a bargain for the price.
I'm absolutely delighted with this pressure washer. I used it to clean the red bricks around my drive yesterday and they now look brand new. It is easy to use and move around. Storing it is much better than with others I have used as the handle folds down so the machine fits back into its box.

Worth the money, but check you need the large version
It worked well cleaning a decked porch. However, I ordered the larger of three versions which is indeed very strong and can occasionally damage wood if not carefully used. Nothing too serious really, but one of the smaller versions would supposedly have worked as well.It needs a lot of power and water. It did blow the 10A fuse of the otherwise unused circuit I first put it on (at 1900 Watt it should have stayed slightly below that point). One water hose did not stand the high pressure at the input plug and repeatedly detached within seconds; another one connected fine without problems for the 2 hours I used the machine. Because I needed to use an extension lead to get power form a 20A circuit (make sure you have a lead rated high enough) and water from the other end of the small garden the setup wasn't ideal with cables/hoses in the way most of the time and a certain risk of water reaching the extension lead plug. Everything worked out in the end with good results, but it was more tricky than expected. It's a high quality device and if proper supply points are available and the power it provides is needed, it's certainly worth the money.
