“It worked the first day and looked amazing, but after washing, it’s like I didn’t do anything. What a waste of money!”

This hair smoothing system arrived in a pink themed box, which had instructions printed on the back. Inside the box are three 120ml bottles. The first is a shampoo, the second a keratin treatment and the third a finalizing mask. I found the instructions slightly confusing with, what I think was, some unnecessary repetition. Firstly you need to shampoo the hair repeatedly, to ensure all residue is removed. The keratin treatment is then applied to all the hair, leaving the scalp untouched. This treatment needs to remain on the hair for 20-30 minutes, making this quite a long winded process. Once the stage 2 treatment is rinsed out you then apply the mask for 6-8 minutes. I found the products in each stage to be quite gel like and tricky to get out of the bottle. So after a 40 minute, overall, process did my hair feel smoother than it ever had before? No. To be honest I couldn't really see any discernable difference, when compared to my usual products. Given the price of £35.82, at time of review, I can't especially recommend this product. My hair felt quite nice but there was no wow factor, which I would have expected given the premium price (for what was only a total of 360ml of product).

My wife and I decided to try the NANO Smoothing System on her hair, hoping it would provide the smooth, straight, and strengthened results promised. After following the instructions carefully, here's what we found. ### Pros: - **Formaldehyde-Free**: One of the best aspects of this product is that it’s formaldehyde-free. This was important to us as we wanted a safer option that wouldn’t irritate her scalp or emit strong chemical odors. - **Softness and Frizz Reduction**: The treatment did make her hair feel softer and slightly reduced the frizz, especially when dealing with humidity. There was a noticeable improvement in the overall texture of her hair. ### Cons: - **Straightening Effectiveness**: Unfortunately, the product didn’t straighten her hair as much as we had hoped. Her hair is naturally wavy, and while there was some smoothing, it did not achieve the sleek, straight look she wanted. It retained much of its natural wave. - **Strengthening Results**: We did not notice any significant strengthening effects. Her hair felt about the same in terms of strength and resilience before and after the treatment. - **Time-Consuming Application**: The application process was quite lengthy and required a lot of effort. Given the results, it felt like too much work for too little payoff. - **Short-Lived Results**: The softness and reduced frizz didn’t last very long. After a few washes, her hair was almost back to its original state, which was disappointing. ### Overall Experience: Overall, our experience with the NANO Smoothing System was underwhelming. While it did provide some softness and frizz reduction, it did not deliver on its promise of effective hair straightening and strengthening. The time-consuming application process and short-lived results were particularly disappointing. We wouldn’t recommend this product if you’re looking for a reliable, long-lasting hair straightening solution.
