Incredible!
This was my first time hatching absolutely anything, but it was an incredible experience. The eggs came crazy fast! So, if you haven't purchased your incubator like me - then do so first! Thankfully, we had a neighbor who hatches her own chickens, so we were able to borrow hers until ours came in. Out of caution, we didn't move them over until Day Ten when we needed to candle them. The eggs were lovingly packaged and only one had a crack on the top. Being none-the-wiser, we still put it in the incubator, and it honestly ended up just fine. I greatly appreciate the 4 extra eggs added in just in case some don't hatch.Day ten, we candled the eggs and found only two - you read that right, ONLY TWO - not fertilized. We were so shocked that we had 22 fertilized eggs. On lockdown day (day 14), we candled them again and only one seemed to have stopped growing rather early. I pulled it from the incubator and - for science - popped it open a day later to find a very small fetus that in fact stopped developing. It was honestly very cool. There was one last one that stopped developing late in the game - which kind of broke my heart because the shell was the most beautiful out of all of them.Hatch day comes around and it's MAGIC! So many pipped all at once and we waited very patiently for them to make their emergence. It was incredible to watch them all hatch like little pieces of popcorn. All 20 eggs hatched and we only had to help two of them.We did have two pass away, one a few days after hatching (it was clearly having a hard time getting oriented to its legs) and the other about two weeks later (just kind of stopped growing and was very sleepy). Not sure what happened with those two other than a difficult hatch for the first one, and maybe a malformation for the second.Either way, we have EIGHTEEN beautiful, healthy quails. They are growing like weeds and are almost full of feathers. They jump around a ton and are so sweet and quiet with their chirps and vocalization. We ordered to raise them as meat birds and for eggs, and I will happily be purchasing from here again if the need arises. There are never any guarantees for fertilized eggs no matter where you buy them from, but the low investment with these eggs was worth the risk.

Quail
This is my second time ordering from you. The first time, 20 eggs hatched, and 4 did not. I think those 4 were the free extra eggs because I received 24 eggs in total.Thank you so much! I have placed another order and hope I receive good-quality eggs again this time, just like my last order. 😊

None are fertile
In just a plain box, no label, saying fragile, or this end up no indication that it had quail eggs inside of it. Once I opened the packaging. There was no label telling me which side of the package I should open again no labels at all thankfully my eggs were not broken. None of them are fertile..

Successful Hatch
Hatched 20 out of 24! Advertises 20 fertile so 100% success rate! Some started pipping on day 16 and hatched day 17. Most hatched on day 18 and two on 19. All of my chicks are a week old and thriving! Very pleased with this purchase. Would buy from this seller again!

Too many were unfertilized
So, I have to start this review by complimenting the eggs' careful packaging. They all arrived without a single bit of damage and were cool to the touch. I used a Vevor incubator, and here is what we have today -8 Adorable rockstars, beautiful, healthy little chicks hatched all on their own. Watching them pip and zip is the coolest thing ever! Today, we received 1 miracle baby. It has been five days after the initial eight hatching, and while I was getting ready to dispose of the unhatched eggs and wash down the incubator, we discovered a surprise 9th chick had tried to hatch but got stuck. I had to step in and assist him. Fingers crossed this little one makes it!Upon examination of the remaining eggs, we had 2 "quitters": the eggs were fully developed, but unfortunately, they passed away right before or during the hatch. Three were partially developed; these guys started growing at the beginning, but stopped somewhere along the way (they were mostly yolk). What I did not care to see was ten completely unfertilized eggs. Out of the 24, almost half were just regular old unfertilized eggs. No development at all.So, would I buy these hatching eggs again? Likely not, too many were unfertilized.Edit - I decided to give them another chance. I will update my review after receiving a new round of hatching eggs.

Great starter quail
These were my first quail eggs- intention of raising for eggs. They came quickly, only one had a crack, and I live in Alaska, and they gave me 4 extra eggs, so that’s a win win! You will need to have done research, they don’t come with any information. I had 18 of 23 hatch, no candling, one didn’t make it. I was pleased with the variety of colors, 50% male and the hens started laying at under 7 weeks! Just wanted to get on here and say a decent place to start your quail journey. No idea what the intent is with these birds, and I’ve since got some bred for temperament, had a less successful hatch rate though!

Quail chicks
This was my 1st time incubating anything and I did so with a TON a research beforehand. I am really happy with my hatch rate so far, I only lost 4 eggs that stopped growing during the 1st 7 days, the rest all continued till lock down and are currently over halfway done hatching and I'm loving the variety of color I'm getting. I would definitely order from these guys again!
