Beautiful little stand.
I think it depends on which company sends this as to what you really get. The one I got was exactly as described - black lacquer, works perfectly and the exact size I needed. I'm pleased. I'm using it to hold a small picture frame.

The easel is sturdy and well made
The easel is sturdy and well made, unfortunately it just did not work for my purposes. Therefore I requested to return it and the seller responded to my request promptly and was extremely nice and helpful. So I would certainly go to this seller again if I needed similar items.

The easel was very cute and would suit my purpose nicely, but the paint was very smeared and smelled like nail polish upon arrival. Seems to have been packed before fully dry. Way too smudged to use as is. Very disappointed.

Not worth $5
The stand isn't worth the $5 I paid for it, but not worth the hassle to return it either. It's a very glossy black, which isn't a problem as the plate covers it up for the most part. It smells strongly of chemicals/paint, but the biggest thing is that the 2 sides of the stand are uneven. The middle "leg" is shorter on one side than another.It did arrive quickly after I placed the order and shipping was free as I purchased with items from other retailers.
