Sweet set.
Great Boston shaker set. Seals well and mixes awesome cocktails. Easy to clean. Will probably last a lifetime. Very cool. Recommend.

Excellent cocktail shaker
I bought the large shaker along with a small shaker four years ago. I am extremely happy with their performance. Itโs seals well and to open, just need to warm it with your hands for a few seconds. I make the perfect caipirinha with it and I use the large shaker to stir 5 to 1 gin martinis. Overall, it is an excellency addition to my bar. Also, after regular use for 4 years, the is no evidence of rust as other reviews have observed.

Perfect, quite happy!
So i bought this and the small shaker off of the recommendation of Anders Erikson (YouTube) and they are fantastic! Someone mentioned that the shaker felt like plastic but not ours. Someone else didnโt realize that this is only one of the shakers, so consider this your notice ๐ Last but not least, weโve used these twice. So Iโll try to remember to come back in a year with an update.

Will make you feel like a pro
Honestly I just bought this (and it's smaller mate) for fun. Did I need another cocktail shaker? Not really. I've got several. But what I didn't have was a set of classic tins with weighted bottoms. These are just gorgeous and a pleasure to use. There are other shaker formats that are more beginner friendly (the Elevated Craft shaker is really excellent) but my expectations were fully met. The Koriko shakers look great and work great and impress the patrons at my home bar. Do you really need these? Nope, the budget set up of a tin paired with a pint glass is just as practical. But if you want a bit of flash and have the cash, go for it.

The best there is. Hands down, no question.
I also have the small tin that pairs with this. Iโve been a professional bartender and bar manager for over 15 years. I have worked countless bars from dives, casual and fine dining and craft cocktail bars. Iโve used every brand of tins there is. Koriko is THE standard. Perfect weight. Stays put on the bar, but feels light in the hand. Great seal but flexible enough to break very easily. Absolutely perfect. 10/10.

Quality Throughout
Have the smaller tin to mate to this one. Very happy with the function and fit. Welded base gives me confidence that the weight won't come off or leak. The upper part of the cup is bendy in the perfect way to mate with the smaller tin which I also purchased. Doesn't not a lot of effort fit the two pieces together. A good smack after shaking indicates a really nice seal between the two cups and means you won't get your drink all over your shirt or running down your arm, very reassuring.

Great shaker and I'll never go back to a cobbler style shaker after using this set.
If you want to step up your home bartending, buy this. I'd used cobbler shakers for years just because that's what I had, but I feel the versatility and ease of use of a Boston shaker make it the winner hands-down. This is the only brand of Boston shaker I've used, but I'm completely happy with it. (I bought the large and small as a set.)

First one rusted, replacement and small tin had no problems. Maybe a material issue?
I ordered this tin and the smaller tin together. After washing them and leaving to dry for the day, I noticed the large one had spots of rust inside already... I figured it was a fluke, so scrubbed it out and made a drink with it. I again cleaned it and left it to dry. Next morning, I noticed new rust spots had formed. What the heck?? I have nice kitchen knives that are more tolerant to some water. Meanwhile, my smaller tin had no rusting issues whatsoever. At this point I requested a replacement from Amazon, suspecting a defective item. I know, silly -- a defective stainless-steel cup. Sure enough, it's been several weeks and several drinks, and not a spot of rust in either tin. Given the positive recommendations this set has gotten and the some of the other reviews having issues with rust, I have a suspicion some of these tins were made with a bad batch of steel or something. I think they're otherwise good tins, but you should consider that you may need to get a replacement if yours is one that rusts.
