Milani Color Fetish Lip Stain Long Lasting Waterproof - 110 Mauve Mentality

This was my first lip stain and I love it! It feel luxurious and has a great slip feel. I tested how long the lip stain lasts BUT still looks good, so I surpised it lasted through an 8 hour shift. This has the best lip appicator I have tried, and I have used dozens of lippies. I bought both the rose and mauve color, and the mauve's color payout is better. It's the perfect everyday color, and I can match it with most my outfits or makeup. I am used to liquid lipsticks, so I was a bit disappointed since the color is very vivid yet translucent even directly after applying. I prefer more muted tones, so I wish they had more of those. While it does feel amazing and hydrating when I apply it, I found it sticking to my lip's dry patches. If you eat, the color entirely disappears, so it's a bit of a hassle bringing it with me everywhere. I bought two other drugstore lip stains after testing this out, and it blows the others out of the away. Its great for beginners. I highly recommend.

Bought this because someone on TikTok recommended it and I really love it. The color lasts a long time and I feel like it gives you a nice light wash without you looking kind of ridiculous if you wanted to no makeup makeup look. It’s also very moisturizing. I feel like most lip stains tend to really dry out my lips whereas I don’t have that problem with this one and the smell also isn’t nauseating. It’s a very light scent.

I was quite surprised at the quality and lasting-ness of this! 1. It goes on like a thick gloss, but, as advertised it’s not sticky. 2. The gloss will stay for quite some time (it will easily be eaten off and the gloss itself wipes off like any lipstick/gloss), but… 3. The stain actually works. When you wipe off the gloss, you are left with a fairly natural looking color on your lips. (I used mahogany, the darkest color, and it looked more like natural color, Van almost any stain or subtle lipstick I’ve used. And I am aggressively pale— which suggest to me that the color is fairly subtle, if the darkest shade still looked reasonably natural on very light skin.) 4. It did not last anywhere close to 12 hours, but it did last a good 3 to 4 hours while eating or drinking in between. 5. The best part: It ACTUALLY IS MOISTURIZING. I find dry lips incredibly uncomfortable, and this left my lips feeling soft and supple. That is a significant distinction from almost any other stain that I have tried, which left my lips feeling dry, even if I carefully put a moisturizing product on top. Things that are significant from other stains I’ve used, including much more expensive options. Worth noting is that the second best option I found is wonder skin, which is nearly 3 times the price. 1. Other stains, I have found, can settle onto lips and deposit color unevenly. Wonder skin in particular well deposit color that is 2 to 3 times as intense in any area of my lips that are more dry. (I actually had not realized that certain spots seem to be more dry until I saw the way that the color distributed.!) This does not do that. 2. Many stains advertise that they are “all day” and I haven’t found any that are anything close to that. Wonder skin can last a good 2 to 4 hours nicely, and this lasts slightly longer. (Only very slightly.) Most of the other stains, I have found, last two hours at best. 3. The fact that this actually moisturizes sets it apart significantly from any other stain, including runner-up wonder skin. I did not feel that I had to put something moisturizing on top, and my lips did not feel dry at all. I don’t love the look of gloss, but if I don’t wipe off the gloss, it feels like I’m wearing some sort of rich moisturizer, like vitamin E ointment. (I specify a moisturizing ointment because I personally very much dislike the feel of thick lipsticks that moisturize, but that also usually includes some kind of fragrance or some other set of ingredients that feel unpleasantly heavy and sticky on my lips.) I’m not marking this five star because this still is not an all day product as advertised—But it is definitely the best that I have found.

I’m obsessed with this. I tend to use makeup products alternatively and not what they are intended for, as many experimental makeup lovers do, and this has been one of my favorite products to use as a cheek and lip stain combo. It gives a very hydrated finish to the cheekbones and makes me feel so glowy.

I got it in Bitten Berry, I do enjoy the color. It feels a bit less drying than other long-wear items I've tried, but I wouldn't call it hydrating. It also doesn't really stain, as I was hoping it would. It comes off while eating and drinking and I've reapplied multiple times just during my work day at a desk. I suppose there's a slight tint that's left behind, but not nearly as bold as I'd like. The only nice thing is that it comes off evenly, I notice when I wear other long-wear or darker lipsticks they tend to leave a lip outline while the center wears off so I have to be mindful of wiping my entire mouth so I'm not accused of misappropriation during my meal, whereas this stain doesn't do that even though it's a nice rich dark color to begin with.

This is a wonderful lip stain for me. It is hydrating, creamy and easy to apply. I really like the subtle color that seems to go with everything I wear. Once it has set after a couple of minutes, I put on a little lip gloss and go. It's pretty long lasting, although you might want to reapply after eating or drinking. During the course of the day it will gradually fade to a soft muted color, but I have no problems with that at all. I really like the very faint vanilla cupcake fragrance it has when first applied. It doesn't last long, so that's not a concern. I tried the color Rose Rising and plan on trying a couple more. It has become my go-to stain!

Never had tried this color or brand of makeup before. I ordered this lipstick and the foundation concealer at the same time. Not to fond of this color of lip stain but it is easy to apply it is not sticky the texture is not bad at all

Pretty but doesn’t last more than a couple minutes. I applied it three times for ten minutes each over the course of an hour and within ten minutes it was gone. Would be great if it lasted.

The product is not upto the mark as expected, when I opened, it looked weird it was melted or expired don’t know but it was not in good condition. Liquid was overflowing and colour is looking like mixture of 2shades something like that. Exactly don’t know what happened with this product. I was very excited to use this product but not happy. This is not the fresh one.
