These are great!

These zinc tablets come in a 10.2cm tall x 4.9cm diameter plastic bottle (this can be recycled and has a 7 in a triangle to indicate so). I counted the tablets and there were exactly 60 of then and they weigh just under 0.5g each. As it is one tablet per day, then this should last you about 2 months. The cost of the tablet works out at 37.5 British pence each, which is quite pricy compared to some other brands. On the other hand they do use 3 types of zinc compounds (Zinc Picolinate, Zinc BisGlycinate and Zinc Citrate) - so maybe you should consider it as a luxury Rolls Royce of most of the zinc tablets available. It is also made in the UK. Anyway each tablet is 6mm x 11mm in size and you can either swallow it or take the dissolvable plastic casing apart and sprinkle it over your food. If you do the latter then I can tell you the white powder has no taste and so should not affect the flavour of your food. They say that zinc is good for healing of wounds, immunity, brain health etc - I guess I will find out? The container reminds the user that taking zinc tablets is not a replacement for having a properly balanced diet - something that could be said for most minerals and food additives on sale.

The bottle label of the capsules I received states this supplement is suitable for those following a vegetarian or vegan diet. Each capsule is fairly small and easy to swallow. It's interesting to have a supplement consisting of a mix of three different types of zinc. Ordered in July 2024 and the product received has a best before date of March 2026. A safety seal across the bottle opening is present for peace of mind. The label does state to not store it above 25°C. I do have concerns that this won't be possible when it is shipped in warmer months and it has been transported in a hot delivery van without air conditioning. I have put my bottle in my fridge because my home can get rather hot in the summer. A smaller bottle could be used because the 60 capsules take up approximately half of the space of the current packaging. Only the capsules are in the bottle. No cotton wool, nor moisture absorption sachet is present. No adverse side effects have been experienced. It seems to be a good zinc supplement product.

I didn't think I would notice anything until at least 2 weeks or a month of taking but I've been taking 2 tablets a day, one in the morning and one at night and I'm feeling better already just after a week of taking. I take it with a meal.

Research shows that Zinc is a brilliant supplement that may promote a better immunity as well as aiding inflammation. I’m a huge fan of zinc and try to take it every day during winter months and when I feel run down. I always find that personally Zinc is synonymous with good health as well as hangovers 😆 when taking with vitamin C and D. I liked the look of this particular Zinc product as not only have I tried Bettervits product before and been happy with their quality but the fact that this seems to be a super Zinc supplement. The trifecta. So fingers crossed it works, only time will tell. This tub should last about 2 x months if you take one a day as recommended. I liked the fact that these capsules were smaller than average.
