Does EXACTLY what is says, great product.
This product is amazing. I had two, areas with hair and scalp oil stains on a beautiful leather sofa. I tried cleaning it with leather cleaning, nothing, you could feel the oil. I hired a supposed furniture cleaning company. They did accomplish to lighten my wallet but the oil remained. I have now given the two spots three treatments and the oil is cone and the leather looks great. One complaint, I wish the company would have sold a kit of this product, the cleaner required between coats and finally the leather conditioner. If you buy this product I would consider getting their cleaner and conditioner. The product is great

Made a mess, didn't do anything
Easy to apply with brush, and dried to white powder, but didn't seem to do anything except leave white residue over leather. It cleaned off readily enough with leather cleaner. Product was previously opened and leaking out of container.

Works great!
I was a little skeptical because of the reviews but this actually worked very well. I followed the directions and did three cycles and it took a really bad body oil stain off a 20 year old leather recliner. It does leave the leather a little faded but I used a leather color balm afterwards, as recommended by the directions, and it turned out great. I wish I took some before and after pictures to share.

It mostly worked
The degreaser worked surprisingly well to remove a body oil stain from my leather couch. It took 5 or 6 coats but it removed the oil stain like 80%. Still somewhat visible but very much lessened. Be prepared to use leather recoloring balm because it did strip dye from the affected spot.

This does work if you are patient!
This does work! For the reviews stating it did not work to remove oil stains on leather, they were just not patient enough. We had a nice leather chair with a severely large oil stains on the headrest from dadโs bald head over time. You must apply this thickly. After an hour, whatever has not turned white there is a dense area of oil and you MUST apply another layer over that spot. If the area is not turning to powder you apply more directly on top of that. Leave it at least 12 hours. When it looks like it is so dry if puffs up and cracks you have maxed what that round can do. Wipe or vaccum off and apply another layer. We had such a dark large area I had no hope but after spending 4 days and about 8 rounds of applying it completely pulled all of the oil away and out of the leather. Itโs a marathon and not a sprint. I just need to add some leather balm now Then I applied a leather coloring balm to Match the finish and sealed with โLeather Honeyโ conditioner. Looks good as new!

Didn't work for us, might work for some.
Really hoped this would work. Following the instructions on the label, this product may have improved the grease stain on our leather chair a little, but it also caused a ring around the stain. In the end, it didn't take care of our issue to any beneficial degree.

Only partially successfulโฆ
I used the product 5 times on a persistent Body oil stain on my cream colored leather sofa cushion. There was some improvement in reducing the stain, but unfortunately it is still obvious.

Works great
Definitely works. You must put enough on and press into the couch if your couch is very old and greasy. I refurbished a couch and thought it wasn't working but it was because I hadn't put enough on. This is definitely a good and a needed step before you put the coloring balm or top coat on. Grease won't let the colors absorb and it will fall off afterwards. I had this problem a bit but the couch still looks brand new from the naked eye.

Phew!
I am sooo relieved that my sofa has been saved after using this product. There was a large oil stain left on my soft leather sofa from a dog bone that had completely dried in by the time I arrived home. I honestly thought this was beyond restoration, but the degreaser really worked!! You do need to be patient as this took maybe five or six applications. The other thing I noted when using it was that you really must clean with a wipe after each treatment to remove the oil that rises to the surface. It looks as though the colour is stripped following the hoover step, but I used a quick spray of furniture polish and the colour came right back. I took photos before, after application and hoovering and then at the end. Iโm chuffed to bits!

Improvement to leather chair
Used to try to remove head sweat stain on a leather chair. The reviews were extremely helpful as the one thing I took on board was to persevere which I have. Over 2 days and 10 applications, I wished I could say it was as good as new but it isnโt. There is however some improvement and following use of saddle soap type of cleaner and nourished, left to dry and then buffed up it is reasonable, but then again this is an old leather chair and had years of head stain.

Fantastic product
Wow, we were very sceptical about this, but it has done a great job, and the sofas look great again, the head sweat/grease stains (Sounds disgusting) have entirely gone. The downside are the instructions, very vague in how you use it, even google'ing didn't help. So this is what we did. After multiple varied attempts, this is what we did that worked. Applied it using an old paintbrush (Give it a good coating), within 10mins some areas will dry white and crumble when touched, other parts will stay wet-looking if it's a heavy stain, leave this for 20-30mins. If still wet looking, apply more of the product to those areas over the top of what's there, and repeat until it dries white and crumbles. If it's not drying white after a 4th coat, move to the cleaning bit and repeat the application the next day or once fully dry. Now the messy bit, using a vacuum, suck it all up very carefully so not to scratch the leather. Any remaining product can be cleaned up using a damp cloth. (The vacuum will also need a clean, including the filter) If needed once fully dry, repeat the application of the product. We didn't use anything in between our applications until between the 3rd and 4th application, where we also left it for 24hrs to give the leather a break. Main because the leather treatment we use acts as a barrier, so didn't want to stop the product from working when applied, plus the leather looked fine and there was no sign of distressing or drying out.

Take care with this. Have a test area if you can.
I bought this to degrease little specks of fat that were splattered onto my beautiful new butter leather bag. It did absorb some grease spots, but it wasn't worth persevering to remove the rest...all carefully placed with a small brush, as it faded the leather giving it an unusual mottled appearance not much better than the grease spots. However, this is one item and it might work better on other things. N. B. Apparently, there is a product available to redress this lightening effect but I won't be trying it for fear of making more of a mess.
