Easy to use
Stained the ceiling of my home pub. Lovely honey pine colour that worked perfectly. Easy to use but don't load the Bush up too much as it is a little like staining with Soy Sauce - a little goes a long way!!

Very good at hiding scratches on a table
Used this on a badly scratch dinning table and it was great.Had used waxed sticks before which were very hard and left a dull finish. I bought 2 tester pots gold and dark pine and applied with a paint brush working in to the scratches and then giving a light wipe over. I applied a couple of coats to get a good match.To be honest a casual glance you can't hardly see the damage at all- it will benefit from either a coat of satin varnish or wax to add a shine to the damaged areas

Don’t trust the colour chart
Easy to apply but one coat of the golden pine dries almost black. The colour chart is incredibly inaccurate.

Useless Sample
This product was useless. I only purchased a sample bottle but the stain had no effect whatsoever on the wood, was basically coloured water

Definitely NOT a Ronseal product, it didn't do what it said on the tin....
Well after reading all the other glowing reviews for this product, I must say I'm a little disappointed with my order. First off, it took 6 days to arrive, not a good start. Secondly, instead of receiving a nicely labelled bottle of stain, as in their advert, I received a non-descript plastic bottle with a bit of plain yellow paper sellotaped to it (see picture). Thirdly, the stain itself seems very dull and flat, it didn't bring out the wood grain of the the little wooden trinket box that I had bought it to stain. All in all, I really don't think it was worth the cost or the amount of time I had to wait for it to arrive.
