Connection instructions can be misleading
I wasn’t sure about this at first because I followed the connection instructions and it’s wrong. If you pair your helmet speakers to your phone via Bluetooth do NOT use the Bluetooth audio output settings on the device, use the apple/android output or the unit will not work correctly. It took some YouTube research to figure this out and I almost returned the unit because of this issue. Once setup correctly this thing is ultra cool, works perfectly giving you great touchscreen control that works well AND it looks great on your dashboard!

Works perfectly, and connects to Ryker Bluetooth stereo
I wanted a way to add a gps that would work with my Ryker’s Bluetooth stereo so I could hear the directions and still listen to my music. A lot of units connect to a Bluetooth helmet but I didn’t find anything about connecting to a stereo system but I thought I’d try it and see. This unit lets me use CarPlay just like I do in my car. It took about 3 minutes to get it to pair with my phone. Then I paired the unit with my bike’s Bluetooth stereo which took a few minutes. Now it takes less than a minute to get it up and running. It’s never lost connectivity, even when way out in the middle of nowhere. The stereo plays a lot louder through this unit- a huge plus.Best accessory I’ve gotten for the bike yet. Now I can ride to places I haven’t been before and not worry about getting lost AND I can enjoy my music.

Great option for CarPlay on your bike
I really like this unit once I figured out how to make it work. The instructions leave something to be desired. If you’re using an iPhone you must change the output to IPhone. My unit was defaulted to android. Connect the unit to your phone first using Bluetooth, then connect to your helmet audio. The sound quality is better than when you connect the helmet to the Carpuride unit. I chose to wire the unit in through a bus that is only hot when the key is on. The wiring supplied was not long enough to reach so I had to splice in a piece of wire. You will not need to do this if you have a USB port available or wire it directly to the battery. The screen quality is excellent and it will reconnect automatically once you have made the initial connection. It comes on automatically when I turn on the key and connects to my phone, then I connect the phone to my helmet. This method works very well. Do not turn on your helmet audio until your phone has connected to the Carpuride. It allows you to have navigation, music, and phone calls available on the bike. I have had it a few months now and love it. I would have given it 5 stars if the instructions were better. I had to search YouTube to find a video that explained how to set it up.

Stick with your cell in remote areas were signal comes and goes.
After completing my 2,900-mile motorcycle trip, I’ve completely changed my opinion of the Carpuride W702. While my initial impressions were positive during installation and short-term testing, real-world performance on a long-distance ride exposed major flaws that I can’t overlook. The biggest issue was reliability with my Apple iPhone 15. The unit frequently froze, forcing me to power it off and back on multiple times during the trip. At other times, it struggled to reconnect to my phone, which became frustrating when I needed navigation the most. What disappointed me most was how dependent the system was on cell service. Even though apps like Google Maps, Waze, and REVER were still functioning on my phone, the CarPlay unit became essentially useless whenever cell signal dropped. That defeats the purpose of having a dedicated motorcycle navigation screen—especially when riding through mountainous areas where service comes and goes.Since this unit connects through Bluetooth, I expected it to mirror and operate apps from my phone regardless of signal strength. Instead, it proved unreliable in exactly the kind of remote touring situations where riders need it most.To be fair, the hardware itself is solid: the screen is bright, the size works well on a sport bike, and installation was straightforward. But hardware doesn’t make up for software and connectivity shortcomings. If your riding is mostly around town or in areas with strong coverage, this may work fine. But for serious touring—especially in mountainous or rural regions—I would not recommend this unit. Unfortunately, I’m beyond the 30-day return window, or I would send it back.My original review was based on first impressions. After real-world use, I can no longer recommend the Carpuride W702 for long-distance riders who depend on consistent navigation and connectivity.

This one works on my 2020 R1250 GSA
I had Carpuride on my Roadtrek since 2 years and it worked well. I decided to give a try for motorcycle carplay. I used it on a bright day and screen brightness was very good. It works with supplied USB cable connected to my bikes special usb adapter. It needs to be 12V and > 1.5 amps. Normal usb adapters normally gives 5V and this unit will not work.Update:The unit gone bad after two days, together with supplied, USB wire when I used with 12v usb supply.Manufacturer was very kind to send me another unit and now it works fine with hard wire, from the battery.Normally, USB wire works inly with 12V supplying USB, but does not turn the screen in when connected to 5V USB. I did nit understand why, and am afraid to give it another try, with USB. Hope manufacturer may come with better power supply details.Yesterday, April 16, 2024, I received BMW adapter and installed. It just works how it is supposed to be.I tired several ways of connection to my iPhone (14 Max Pro), and helmet (Sena 50C), but was not able to use “Siri” with voice command (“hey Siri” or just “Siri”). Finally, I connected my phone>Carpuride and my phone>Helmet. In this case, it made “Siri” usable when I click and hold the six dots menu at left bottom corner of the screen. It kicks Siri in.

Game changer for my rides – Wireless CarPlay is a must!
I finally decided to upgrade my bike with the Carpuride W702, and I'm so glad I did. The 7-inch touchscreen is bright and clear, even on sunny days, and it’s responsive enough to use with my riding gloves on. Connecting my phone for wireless CarPlay was super easy—it pairs automatically every time I turn the bike on.I really like the dual Bluetooth feature, which lets me listen to music and hear navigation directions through my helmet headset while the phone stays safely in my pocket. The waterproof (IP67) build gives me peace of mind when I get caught in the rain. Installation was straightforward, and the mount feels solid. Highly recommended for any rider who wants modern navigation without buying a new bike!

CONECTIVIDAD

Great value for what appears to be a solid well build piece of equipment
Works well! The camera is a must if you ride a motorcycle. It's great having front and back cameras. and the ability to take snapshots is great

¡Excelente!

Fast setup
Fixed this into my bike - the handle holds it tight very firmly and doesn't shake the screen at all even when I'm traversing over bumpy roads. Carplay screen is very bright at night but adjustable. Not entirely sure how this will hold up during harsher weathers as it's just starting to be Spring out but so far so good.

Buen producto
