I bought the XL bed for my Catahoula/Great Dane mix and the medium for my Standard long-haired Dachshund. They arrived rolled up wrapped in multiple layers of plastic. Easy to unwrap and quick to fluff up to size. The xl bed was sturdy enough to support ME without sinking to the floor. Both of the dogs immediately jumped on and were comfortable side by side so there’s more than enough room. No bunched up fabric very smooth easy to vacuum or wipe with a cloth. I am so pleased with this item. It’s investing in the health and wellness of your dog and undoubtedly the last dog bed you’ll ever have to purchase. So relieved to have a quality product for my pups...we’re all happy!Update: Jan 2021 still super happy with these beds- I’ve bought three of them- no seams tearing or loose threads, have washed the covers probably four times already and they’ve held up and didn’t shrink! My dog digs before she lays down, sometimes pretty rough, I was worried the cover would tear but NOPE! I am so impressed by this quality bed I tell everyone who is looking for a dog bed.... I’d probably even go as far as to recommend it for a toddler...the mattress really supports you, occasionally I’ll lay on the bed playing with my pups and it is so comfortable, most importantly you don’t sink through to the floor. To say I’m impressed is an understatement.*UPDATE* 10/2023 my dog’s digging finally tore up the plastic liner of the bed but the cover has held up beautifully wash after wash. I recommend zipping it closed while washing. I used duct tape to close up a few tear marks on the plastic liner and it’s holding up lol. Like I said previously I bought two of the xl beds one of the zippers gave out and got stuck closed so I can’t wash it anymore. I have a washable blanket over it and it’s been working just don’t want to spend the $75 to buy a replacement rn, eventually I’ll get one. But other than that I am still so happy with this purchase it is the best dog bed ever and my dog loves it!!!!

This bed is absolutely amazing! It’s the largest dog bed I’ve ever seen and it’s perfect for my 6 & 4 year old, 140lb Great Danes!My male has a lot of joint issues and he loves his new bed and can be a task to get him up to go outside. It barely sinks when they walk on it and keeps its form without being a brick. I actually fell asleep on it while cuddling with them one night and there was enough room for all three of us! I’m 6’5, 280lbs and it still didn’t sink down much. Even my stepping on the bed doesn’t deform the material. The covering is strong.My male has a habit of scratching at where he’s going to lie down and there’s no signs of tears or fraying of the material. It’s also very convenient being able to take the cover off to wash and clean the bed.I would recommend this bed to anyone with giant breed pups. They deserve a bed like this!

We’ve only had this in the house for a few days, so I can’t speak to long term durability, but it’s really well made (and thankfully my dogs are not destructive). Comes packaged like a human orthopedic mattress and expands just about as thick as one! It also has not one but two interior, zippered protective covers.I bought this for my 115 lb Labrador who has moderate elbow dysplasia. He loves it! He’s a very large boned, lager headed dog and he’s got ample space. I could have likely gone a size smaller, but he can really stretch out on this one.He’s allowed on the couches and the beds, and though he’ll start out on furniture, he eventually moves to this bed and passes OUT. Great purchase!Btw, it takes awhile to receive (I think 10 days), but worth the wait!

So I’ve only had the bed for about a week and a half or so, and I (the human) LOVE IT! It’s extremely thick and soft, and seems like it’s got the durability of a sleepnumber bed I’d buy for myself!! However, because it’s so big and thick my furbabies aren’t so sure about it…I’m still hopeful they’ll warm up to it though so I’m not returning it! I just KNOW if they’ll give it a real chance they’ll love it too!!

I gave this bed some time to make sure it worked out. So far it is holding up well, and my aging pit bull mix seems to really like it (so do the cats). He is about 85-90lbs and barely makes a dent when laying on this bed. When I sit on it with him, I don't even reach the floor at all (its actually thicker than my own orthopedic memory foam bed). This has helped immensely with his degenerative joint disease, arthritis, and spondylitis in his spine. He is not stiff at all when getting up now and it's the perfect height for him to get on and off without excess effort. The bed inflated properly with no problems, even the bolster (which he loves to rest his head on), and no super strong odor was noticed. I do cover it with his blanket, so I haven't needed to wash the cover yet but it does vacuum easily for the stray hairs from nesting and I spray it with an upholstery sanitizer before putting the clean blanket back on. I will definitely buy another one once our rottweiler needs more support than his futon provides.

3 day review:Bed quality: Orthopedic mattress is better than what I and my husband have. I feel the cover is a little on the thin side and a little loose. My dog prefers to have a cozy environment with pillows and blankets, so while the cover quality is not amazing, it’s also not a deal breaker. The size of the bed was perfect for our guy, too. We measured him sprawled out prior to ordering and got the bed one size up from those dimensions. For reference, we have a Rhodesian/Lab mix, ~70lbs, and ordered the Large.Delivery: we ordered one color and got another. Could be a mistake, could be an issue with availability. We decided to bite the bullet and keep the one received since we were going to add some blankets for the kid anyway. The packaging was neat and easy to deal with.What my dog says: “I guess getting kicked off my parent’s bed isn’t too bad when your bed is comfier than theirs. 10/10, but will still try to sneak on their bed for snuggles.”
