Lock and Love Women's Faux Leather Moto Biker Jacket Coat with Removable or Non-Removable Hood

Every jacket I bought of this brand is awesome! I have several colors! Fits your body perfectly adds curvy style and these are super comfortable and well made!

I'm extremely picky when it comes to jackets and while I loved the way this one looked, I was a bit worried about purchasing this jacket, since some reviewers said that the jacket was shorter than they wanted. To be safe, I decided to size up two sizes, I like jackets to be loose fitting, and I figured a bigger size would have a longer length. I got a size 2XL and it was perfect. It wasn't short at all, it rests just above my hips, which is the perfect length. It also looks great on me, it's form fitting and isn't boxy. This is also very comfortable and versatile for both warm and cool weather. I really like how the hood is attached with a zipper, past jackets like this that I've had are attached with buttons or snaps and they have a tendency to get undone throughout the day, and I doubt I'll have that problem with this jacket, so there's another plus. The quality of the jacket seems pretty high as well, I imagine it'll last for a while. For sizing comments, I'm 5'7", 34" waist, an athletic build, and wear a 38D. I usually wear a size L/XL shirt. Again, I got a 2XL solely because I like my jackets to be a little loose and I wanted the extra length on the bottom. It certainly doesn't run that small. It was a little smaller than I had anticipated for a XXL, so I would say to size up just to be safe, but I don't think it's a very significant change from your regular size.

I loved this jacket and bought it about five=six years ago, but I should have sized up, it runs small and was tight in the arms. I say was because when I went to wash it at some point and took off the zip-off lining (hood) it didn't zip back on, the zipper broke. I can still wear it without the hood part but it is missing that certain je ne sais quoi now. I would buy this again, but a size up, and I'd take a lot of care unzipping the hood so as not to break the zipper. Maybe also use some of my zipper wax on it (for cheap zippers). It's not a warm jacket, so more for fall or spring. It does look good, though and the faux leather is pretty convincing. After I bought mine a friend immediately went out and bought a real leather one and said it was pretty expensive (wouldn't say how much). I probably should have bought one like she did, it would probably still be zipping up, lol. But anyway, if you don't have the kind of money to buy a real leather one, I would recommend this jacket (but a size larger than normal)

Body shot attached below! 10/17/16 UPDATE: Sized up to a large. Hood IS removable along edge of front zipper* EXCELLENT product. Please review photographs below. Description is in my opinion for Asian sizing, and the LINING where the hood comes out adds extra inches in sweatshirt material, which is somewhat misleading, because if you're like me, you may not always want to wear it with the hood with the extra inches of sweatshirt lining inside of the item. You may just want to wear the coat by itself. That's why I had to process a return when I didn't really want to because I didn't want to necessarily wear the item with the hood in it. Otherwise everything is intact and the item is exactly As depicted it in the photograph. It really appears as though it's real leather and my item did not smell strange at all as others indicated. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I love this jacket! However: CONS: I am 5 foot one, athletic, 140 lbs, muscular, 36D, 28 natural waist, 38 hips, and I normally wear a medium and this item did not fit in the chest area correctly. I was wearing an un padded sports bra and I measure 34 inches across the widest part of my chest with a slack tape measure, but the items description as do some of the reviews say that this item runs slightly large? I doubt this very much. The quality of the item is excellent though. I totally didn't want to return this! I love it so much style-wise I'm going to give it another shot - just sizing up, once my refund is processed. Hopefully it will be very soon. Horrible experience getting the right size esp since there's different types of jackets. I totally give up! They must be made in China even tho it says it's not but it's weird cause the 1 type jacket that was size small was too big but then the other types are so tiny it's as if it's made for a child and the shoulder area of the jackets are so narrow that you can't move. It's like the rest of the jacket could fit a bit OK but with the shoulder part it's just so hard to be comfortable in it! It's not stretchy material. I can't find jackets around me it's as if they stopped selling them so I had to resort to shopping online and I dislike getting clothes online cause of size issues. I've taken back 5 jackets now and I tried another jacket from another seller and same issues. It's frustrating!

This jacket is very nice and well made. The only thing I can see possibly because it was hard to zip up but I don't even wear my jackets zipped. It is at the perfect thickness and I think it'll be warm in the fall and winter. Perfect for Texas.

I ordered the black with detachable hood and another without the hood in large (my size per the chart). I'm about 5'10, 40" bust, between size M & L in tops. The hooded was slightly small, no hood way too small. I ordered xl in the hooded bc I liked that style better. Both large came wrapped in two bags, folded nicely, with tags and paper wrapping on the zipper pulls. The xl came waded up in the outer bag only (the inner bag was what has the style info on it. It has no tags, no tissue, all unzipped and smells like perfume. It's also defective. The arms are sewn wrong. The seam in the front from the arm to the shoulder is .5" different, the shorter side curves forward. Inside, the seams don't line up. The zippers also don't work well. It came in a box with another purchase so it's not like they just grabbed this one item from the shelf and shipped it. The outer bag was sealed so when it was returned, they clearly repackaged it before it was sent to me. I've heard about people getting stuff like this but it's a first for me.

Fits great. Came earlier than expected. Excellent service will buy again.

Looks as pictured. Love the color. Comfortable and the quality seems pretty good. The sleeves are long on me but i tend to have that issue when petite sizing isn't an option. Might order another in a different color!
