ARCHIES Footwear - Flip Flop Sandals – Offering Great Arch Support and Comfort

I purchased the Archies flip flops in taupe, and they’ve quickly become a favourite. The colour is a perfect neutral that works well with my wardrobe, and the overall look is understated and more elegant than many casual flip flop styles. The arch support is excellent, noticeably more supportive than standard flip flops, and once they mould to your feet, they feel almost like walking on a supportive yoga mat. They do start out very snug, and I had slight bruising on the top of one foot during the first couple of wears, but they relaxed exactly as expected. I actually appreciate the tighter fit because it stops your toes from gripping, which makes them more comfortable for longer walks. I wore them on a weekend away with lots of walking, and they performed brilliantly: no blisters, no rubbing, and no leg fatigue. The material feels durable, and the shape stays supportive throughout the day. They are pricey, but in my experience you genuinely get what you pay for. I’m already planning to buy more colours and eventually try the slides.

Was a bit skeptical because of the higher price point. However, after doing a bit of research I decided to buy a pair to try out.... Result = I am so glad that I did, they are well made and soooo comfortable, they look good on, are light on the feet and stay on! It took a couple of days to get used to them but WOW once they had stretched and 'moulded' to my feet I didn't really notice that I was wearing them. The arch support is great which helped with my back pain. I wondered how durable they would be in the heat, and wondered if my feet would sweat, rub and slip but No! My husband now has a pair and I have another pair .....the range of colours are great too. Plus less weight in the holiday suitcase. Thank you Archies Footwear.

Amazing! Bought as a summer house shoe on a recommendation and they were immediately ultra-comfortable. True to my usual size and with great arch support and comfortable toe post. Upper strap grips foot without being uncomfortable and means there is no need to grip with toes as with regular flip flops. Not cheap at £35 but, if they wear well, worth every penny. I may consider wearing them beyond the house as they are so comfortable! Lovely colour options and I opted for navy.

I ordered my usual size and they fit just right. The thong and straps are tight on the foot but that helps keep them securely on. I've worn & walked in them a lot and they never rubbed or caused blisters. My feet (especially the heels) have formed their own shape in the flip flop. I'm used to much more firmer footwear, these are a little softer than my usual but more stylish and I LOVE the colour!

Love them. This is my 2nd pair as already have some in another colour - these are on their 4th summer now with no signs of giving up. Comfortable to wear all day. No having to grip with toes like basic flip flops. Feet don’t ache after wearing them (like normal flat flip flops. If you’re not used to them, they do take a few days of getting used to - may feel uncomfortable at first but stick with it. These are a game changer! Well made, all one piece so no risk of toe thing popping out. Look good. Mine old ones look almost as good as the new pair I just ordered. Rubber material is strong and sturdy. Soul is harder than basic foam flip flops but still cushioned enough to be comfy. Sizing - go with your usual shoe size. They are meant to be snug to allow for the initial stretch. If sized correctly, your heel just sit at the edge of the base which may seem like they are too small but it works. Although more pricey than others they last so well and are definitely good value.

I genuinely didn’t think a pair of flip flops could feel this supportive. I’ve worn trainers that felt less comfortable than these. Somehow they manage to provide the support of a good trainer whilst still feeling incredibly lightweight and easy to wear. They’re so comfortable that I completely understand all the reviews saying you forget you’re wearing them - I thought that sounded dramatic until I got my own pair. There have genuinely been multiple occasions where I’ve put them on around the house and then accidentally left the house wearing them because I forgot I hadn’t changed into proper shoes. They just feel that natural and comfortable on your feet. My feet/lower back usually ache after walking or standing around for a while, but when I wear Archies I barely get any pain. I also love the bright colours! I started with a pair in Peach and was so obsessed that I bought another pair in Lemon and just also bought a pair in Black. Since then I’ve recommended them to my university friends, my mum, my friends back home, family members, and pretty much anyone willing to listen. I’ve made countless people try them on and several have gone on to buy their own pairs after experiencing how comfortable they are. I never thought I’d become the kind of person who enthusiastically talks about arch support, but Archies have converted me. They are genuinely the most comfortable flip flops (and shoes in general) I’ve ever owned, and now I understand why people end up collecting multiple colours. My only complaint is that they’re becoming an expensive obsession. I would also LOVE if they came out with a square toe version!

I bought these after reading positive reviews from people suffers from plantar fasciitis. The sizing is tight, my longest foot is at 26cm and I bought UK 7, this is on a tight side, however, I don’t have a bigger size to compare it with but feel a bigger size would be better. Strap wise, as instructions, can be pulled slightly to stop the slippers from nudging into the skin. I found myself having to do it every time before I wear them. I like how soft it feels, and it’s very cushioned. Not sure about the arches support myself. The last point, they make very loud annoying noises as you walk, which I find very annoying.

I have very flat feet. For me the strap height is perfect and I haven’t had to stretch them at all. I found the arch quite uncomfortable at first, it just felt weird, like it was really poking into the underside of my feet. But after wearing them for a week that feeling has completely gone and they are so comfortable. They are snug (which I like), I feel like I could walk miles in them. I have had no rubbing or blisters. I would definitely recommend.

These have a surprisingly comfortable heel area with pretty good arch support. (Arch area not as firm as an orthotic so to say, but held up well with walking for a few hours). I have dealt with plantar fasciitis on and off over the years, and I’d recommend these for a quick on the go kinda of sandal. “Slight” issue is that they felt a little on the snug side ( but I do see that there are instructions provided on stretching them to adjust that.) either way, I would lean to the higher size if you’re in between.
