Quality filter water tastes amazingly fresh. I wanted to purchase another one however the price had hiked up to 105 on amazon and I managed to get the exact same product for just 36 on the company's own website.

Great tasting water, yes it's slow to filter but well worth the wait. Water is crystal clear, I have had several of these and wont touch tap water now. Excellent product

Makes water like evian but only snag is bit pricey and more so recently as doubled on price recently. No sore throat/stomach pains like my Thames tap water gives me so great in my book. Big berkey also good but bit bulky.

Of course I have no way of testing the validity of the claims but I am prepared to take it on trust as the best I can find. I had a gravity filter which was much cheaper to run but I have such a tiny kitchen so was glad to find a jug filter doing the same thing. I am still confused as to whether I should keep it submerged in water all day or if it matters. Have put out questions about this but not had any replies.

As others have said, this black filter just doesn't work. It has one hole instead of three which my previous one had, and takes three hours to filter the water. I have to plan my water use one cup at a time and the only time I can fill it up is overnight. Considering the overheated price this is appalling. I wanted the white filter but none were available, which is poor poor customer service, so I had to order this useless thing. I wish I'd never bought an Epic water jug, and if I can't get the white filter in future I will drop Epic and buy a different jug.

Like others when the filter that came with my original jug (which has three holes) came to be replaced a filter with only one hole arrived (despite being advertised here as three holes). Does it matter? yes and no. PROS: It does work (slowly) and the water tastes goos. CONS> The filter is expensive and only lasts three months and this one-holed version is much slower. You need to be willing to keep topping up the jug perhaps 15 minutes before use. Fine for me ( I live alone) but I imagine it won't work for families etc.
