Maybe the secret for dog cooperation
When turkey tendons arenโt feasible these are the way to my dogs heart- & more importantly their attention & cooperation without excessive calories. Theyโre getting healthy ingredients & good nutrition too. I especially like that there arenโt a lot of fillers & grains just enough to make the paste work. They have learned that when the flat spoon thing comes out they will be getting one of these. They are so excited they donโt even stop to think what need to do earn the treat they just come over & engage in the activity. My dogs have learned to focus & wait while we do things like nail trimming & grinding & other grooming. Itโs much easier than fumbling for & dropping little treats when I need both hands. I can even prop the spoon next to them if I need just a bit more time to finish up. Tried it with the regular little treats a couple of days ago, but they made it clear these cat treats are the way to get cooperative dog care. I also like these because they are less messy than a lick mat which is important when the goal is grooming.

Dog with CKD Loves These
My dog LOVES these. They are great for making medication easier to take (we break/crush/open the pill (if appropriate for the medication) and put a few small drops of this dotted around a plate, including a some with the medication mixed in or hiding underneath. She licks the plate clean, medicine and all, without a second thought. These are also great for use on lick-mats. Sometimes we'll put it on a lick mat and put the mat in the freezer for awhile, which keeps her occupied MUCH longer. If you're sensitive to smell (they contain fish - so it does have that familiar aroma), freezing it also dampens that aroma. So happy to find something that 1) actually lists phosphorus and sodium, 2) has levels appropriate for a pet with CKD, AND 3) that she's so excited for. When you have a pet with CKD, that's like seeing a unicorn... Also left this review on the kidney-specific variety - but all the flavors have appropriate phosphorus and sodium levels - and my dog loves them all.

Tasty Treats for My Cat
My cat loves these treats. We have to give her drops every day and these are perfect. She licks them right up. Easy for my 10 year ol to squeeze out and our cat gets so excited. She loves all the flavors
