Coco Coir value
Great for organic plant growth. Easy to use. Break-off amount and just add water. Quality nutrients. Easy to store unused portions.

Definitely, we'll buy this again worth the money.
I'm gonna say this is the best thing in a long time that I've gotten on Amazon as far as the quality. How long it lasts? How much you get? I still have so much of this left and I have used a lot of it. It just goes a long way. I use it in my house plants. I don't use it outside in a yard or anything like that. I've just chip away at the block because it comes very solidly packed. I chip away at the block and I water it and get it. Ready to go, and I've had to waste very little of it, sometimes, in the very beginning. It's a little hard to know how much to chip off the block, so just do a little bit at a time. To make sure you're not taking too much, because it bloats up very largely a lot, and then you end up with excess that you can't use, because you don't really want it to sit there. Wet and get moldy so you want to just take off enough if you're using it in house plants for each plant, just be cautious about that, but this is absolutely great stuffI'm gonna say this is the best thing in a long time that I've gotten on Amazon as far as the quality. A good value purchase
Excellent quality coir selling at 10% to 20% less than many other suppliers here. Well shredded with good consistency and very little dust. Salt levels - always an issue with coir - were measured with a calibrated EC meter and are on the low side. The pH of my batch reads at 7.1. No issues rehydrating.

Excellent product and yield
So I was having trouble finding coconut choir in my area. I was repotting several airoids and needed coconut choir. I took a chance and tried this product. The difficulty was breaking apart the brick. I drove a flat head screw driver with a hammer into the center and broke off a quarter of it. I followed the instructions and it worked perfectly. I love the consistency as I also add coconut chips to the mix, so I like the softness of it.I won't have to buy anymore this year. I have plenty.

Love it
Love this dirt. Good quality for the price. It expands so I filled up a 12 gallon bucket, a 10 gallon bucket (only half way), and a 3 gallon bucket. It needed wayyyy more water than the box said to add though and it soaks it up pretty quick. I did notice my plants sprouted faster than the package said they would but idk if thatโs the soil or what

Garden magic
Love this stuff. Not my first time using. Kansas soil is alkaline and clay hard so this helps loosen and correct some of the issues.

Seed starter must have
Great for mixing in with my potting soil to start seeds. Holds moisture well and gives seeds a healthy start. Amazingly expands so itโs a fantastic value
User
Quality product
It did really expand to a lot more & has made my plants very happy! The plants look healthy & have been growing faster since we changed their planter to a larger one & used this product.
User
Great product. Highly recommended.
Works great and expands quicker when soaked in hot water. You get what you pay for and when it absorbs the water, it shreads so easily and mixes so well with any other nutrient soil mix. I will be buying another and this review will not change if they keep the product as good as it is.

Amazing! Filled 2 giant urns with one 10lb brick!
Amazing! Filled 2 giant urns with one 10lb brick!I was so impressed with this coconut fibre that I came back for more!Got rid of all the soil in my plants, washed all my plants roots (I have hundreds of plants) and switched to this coconut substrate and Iโm so glad I did! My plants are thriving more than they ever have! And it looks so much better in the planters than regular potting soil!Iโve tried a few other coconut substrate brands and this one so far is the best Iโve found.Iโll definitely be back for more!

Fertilizer/plant food
This seemed to work great. It broke apart easily. We planted three spruce trees. So far they seem to be thriving ๐

Good product - but use caution if you don't plant right away!
I used the compressed Coco Coir to fill a planter outside, along with other mulch, dirt and cardboard with plans to sow my seeds next spring since it was already too late in the season. I should have waited to purchase this, or kept it in the bag inside instead of filling the planter. Although I watered the coir and mulch a few times (mostly to expand/release the compression), within 5-6 weeks during a heat wave I had not watered and the planter spontaneously combusted. It was a low fire that burned up most of the coir and mulch, and did not get out of control, but left worrying singe marks on the planter. I watered everything again, but the heat wave the next week again caused it to spontaneously combust into a small fire.I would buy this product again, but I will be very careful about storage of it (and any other dry organic product!) and I suggest frequent watering and using a wet compost or fertilizer when you are ready to plant.
