You ever wonder what in the world you should buy your folks for Christmas? Completely lost at what would be the perfect gift. Well, let me tell you. This Lego set is the perfect Christmas gift. Even for parents in their 60's. I wanted to my parents to feel young and youthful again, and this set really helped do that. Very fun activity we were able to all do as a family. Each bug comes in its own little package so the parts don't get mixed or confusing. Each one comes with it's own little booklet too, so a family of 3 can easily all sit around the kitchen table and work on these together like me and my family did! Each bug has its own complexities in building but they weren't too hard! (the beetle was mildly challenging) I feel like anyone above 12 could easily put these sets together. (but it would be frustrating for younger children, and possibly elders with seeing issues as the parts are TINY! (12-70 year age range id say give or take depending on the person). Once they are built these little suckers are super sturdy! They make very cute little statues in the office or on a bookshelf on display. Definitely recommend getting your parents legos for Christmas! You won't regret it!

This is a beautiful set of kits! They are great for 7 years old and up. All three are a treat to build and look at. The mantis is very detailed, the beetle has a few configurations with the wings open or closed, but my favorite was the beautiful butterfly and the little honey bee 😍

I’m so glad I bought this set! They turned out better than I anticipated and I wish I could find more sets like this. There were no missing pieces, good instructions, durable, and my 18 year old could not stop putting it together once she started, that’s how much fun it was to build!

Love it! The size of the bugs are great. There were no missing pieces. I got it on sale, but even at full price it is well worth it. Building it was easy overall. There were a few spots you have to take your time on. The design was unique in my opinion and accurate. I would recommend this Lego set.

Originally bought this as an early Christmas grift for my daughter. The set had sparkled her eye and it was on sale. Kids opened up the Amazon box and found it, so made a deal that the could write down which set of the three they wanted and they could have it in their room, thankfully they chose different sets! The builds themselves were interesting and varied. They could be rather challenging with the small details but my 20 year old did fantastic. Each kid built the set they wanted with help from dad. And we all helped build the 3rd set. Very little repetition in the builds which is nice. And some excellent little details in each build. The final build on all 3 sets are fantastic! They are great display pieces. My oldest has the Mantis, my youngest has the Beetle and the butterfly is in the mantle. My wife, a non-Lego person, even likes it! Bottom line: varied build, fun process and excellent final display. Recommended.
