Nice big helmet, great look, minor visor issue.
The helmet is great- the liner is really nice and comfortable. The fit is big- I have what is normally a 2 or 3XL head but the XL fits me perfectly. Follow the sizing guide and you should be good. The helmet features are fine but really what most folks are looking at this helmet for are probably value and looks. The helmet looks great, the matte black finish was very nice when I got mine, I found no finish errors or any misaligned details. Hard to find another helmet with similar styling and an ECE rating at this price so for me that's a big win on value. The air vents are small but they work fine- it's not the lightest helmet on the market nor does it block wind noise the best but I don't imagine folks looking at this style will mind that much- it's cheap, fits well, protects well, and looks fantastic. The only issue I have is that the visor scrapes the decorative chrome strip above the face hole and leaves small scratches on the visor. I pulled the visor off to clean and see if it was just dirt build up but alas it was scratches. Fortunately the part of the visor that is scratched is actually the very top that doesn't even come into view of the face hole so it's just an aesthetic issue.

Look like a 70โs Bond Villain!
Disclaimer: I just received this, so itโs not a long term review. This is an initial FIRST try. Whatโs to LOVE: gloss black with copper pinstripe and brown faux suede has amazing look! Finish on it is amazing. Itโs only 3 lbs so itโs very light. Fit is for round-shaped heads - and it slipped gloriously on to my almost spherical globe. Cool factor: obviously youโre looking for the retro style and this is very cool. It will set you apart from Gringo and Bullit, if thatโs important to you. I purchased the dark shield (I live in New Mexico) and it will make you look like a Bond villain. If thatโs your gig - your gonna LOVE it. Vents: I can feel the effect on my scalp (Lack of vents is what made me avoid the Gringo). It is also ECE R22.05 rated, which similar helmets (eg, the aforementioned lid) do not have. It is full-faced, which is good, since 19% of wrecks injure the face. Whatโs to LIKE: padding. I donโt love it but I donโt hate it. Again - very nice looking. I mostly just love 95% of this helmet. Venting ports: little slits that can be closed (nice clicking sliders). They could be a bit bigger to add more venting. (But you may not like that). What needs IMPROVEMENT: I wish shield had detents or ratchets - even though that will drive up cost and weight. It waits to be seen how durable the faux suede will work - I sweat a lot. Straps could be a bit more thicker - just too flexible. D rings are a cool red - but feels light-weight. $35 for a shield? This is a fail. This is just a fact: itโs a little noisy. But this is not a modern-styled helmet. Itโs not bad - I rather like hearing around me. But if you have a noisy scoot - you may need plugs. Also, I bet it leaks like a sieve in the rain: no gaskets around shield and I cannot imagine the slides in the front vents would keep out much water. But this is a retro helmet - expect retro performance. All-in-all: Iโd still give it two thumbs up!

This is a great Helmet
I saw someone wearing this helmet at a Motorcycle event this summer and when I got my license, I ended up buying it after reading reviews - I just loved it so much. For the price, it's a beautiful helmet. It is super comfortable, I love the ventilation and it looks really great on, which is a bonus. The only thing I will say, which I know has been said in reviews, is the sizing runs large. I measured my head and ordered a small (since that's what the size chart recommended) and it was too loose. I would size down from the recommended size. The XS fits me perfectly. I will probably get another of this helmet in a different design for next season - it's just such a great helmet.

Retro style for fair-weather forays
Retro-cool and slightly 70s, this helmet gets looks and comments. I used it every day this summer, and loved the look of it โ with its cinnamon and caramel stripes, widescreen visibility, and even its brown pseudo-leather lining (though I'm convinced it irritates my skin). But now that the weather's turning, the honeymoon is over, and all the cheaper engineering is starting to reveal itself. For one thing, it's noisy and tons of wind rattles through (there's definitely a reason other visors are narrower at the cheeks and temples!). You'll want to shut the visor all the way โ and then you get the dreaded fog factor. Oh, and rain? Yeah that'll get in there, too. Even if you *don't* pop the visor a hair to keep the fog at bay (which you will, trust me). High winds hit not long ago and on an exposed bridge so much air was blasting through this helmet, my head was jerking around like a dandelion puff. Sigh. You're a dashing one, you rogue, with your old-school charm. But what can I say? It was just a summer fling.

Feels and seems like high quality
Quick Shipping. Feels and seems like high quality. Interior is removable and washable and feels very premium. Really like the chocolate brown interior color. Finish is excellent. The visor operation is smooth with only full open and full close detents. Vents open and close with satisfying clicks. Nice venturi grooves in eps for ventilation. Minus one star because the size medium is too large. I'm 57.5cm and still too large.

Great build quality and looks perfectly retro
I ride a 2013 Triumph Thruxton. I have received several thumbs up from other riders on how well the helmet fits the bike. So, if you ride a cafe racer of any kind, or ride a retro bike of any kind, you won't be disappointed in the look. I ordered a medium on the chance that it would fit me perfectly. My nugget is 58 1/2 mm around and so I decided to take the chance on the medium. It presses on my forehead a bit so I only use this on shorter rides. My point is that it runs just a tad on the small side, or rather, it's sized perfectly so if you're right up on 58 mm just go for the large. it might break in over time but why deal with that. Lucky for me it fits my gal so it worked out. ****Price was good-ish so shop this helmet price wise. A buddy of mine found it at a shop for less $. Or so he claims....could be a LAD.

Great helmet, but scratched, now fixed
Seems to be a great helmet, however this one came scratched. Awaiting response on issue. Unfortunate, because I really need this over the next few days Edit: these guys made it right and sent a replacement visor. Easy to switch, and sending the damaged back. So far styling is excellent, quality seems great. There is some wind noise, but not much. Considering some home made remedies to better seal the visor to the helmet. Coming from a biltwell gringo with a snap on bubble this is superior in every facet from weight, comfort, fit, vents, visor, etc. Matches my retro 82 Suzuki very well too.

Great looking helmet
Okay, so I ordered this helmet based on all the reviews I was reading. My head measures 59-60cm depending on how tight I hold the rope. So technically I'm a L. However many reviews said to take a size down. So I did, and went for the M, and I'm glad I did! It gives a tiny little pressure on the forehead but I'm pretty sure a L would be too big for me. I went for this helmet because of a few things other types of helmets don't have. First; ventilation! Many retro helmets have insufficient or even none. Second, a normal opening and closing visor! Many retro helmets have this push-button locking mechanism... Third, a very (read VERY) wide viewing angle! Finishing on this helmet is very good too. The inside padding looks and feels great. The lacquer is very smooth All in all, a very nice helmet for it's price. Would recommend it! This review is however written before I actually made a ride on my bike with it... Should I get a negative point after going for a ride, I will add a comment to this review. Update: after a few rides (wintertime here) I must admit the screen fogs up very easily. I havenโt tried any anti-fog products though. For the time being I just open up a very small part to make the fog go away.... this is a negative. But Iโd still buy the helmet :)
