FUNWHOLE Newsstand Lighting Building Bricks Set - City Town Life Newsstand LED Light Construction Building Model Set 556 Pcs for Adults and Teen

The newspaper stand is my second funwhole set and I am thoroughly won over by this company. The first set from FO I built was the farm store which had a few issues that made it a bit tedious (although it looks really great and packed full of details) but the newspaper stand didn’t have any of those issues. All the parts went together very easily and there were NO stickers/decals (all the fantastic details are printed!). For such a small set, the building is full to the brim with lovely details that are so fun to put together. I’m not an expert in putting in lights but their instructions are so clear and pieces are made so well that the entire build was a breeze. There were no missing pieces at all and very few spare parts which suggest to me that their manufacturing process is very precise. There are two very small caveats to all the greatness - the wiring for the street lamp does get squished under a few tiles that are not made to accommodate wires so the tiles end up not being pushed all the way down, and the back door hinge is very loose so the door doesn’t stay closed and swings open every time I move the set. Other than those two very minor flaws, the newspaper stand is a wonderful little build that is fun to assemble as well as display. I am completely enamored with this set and can’t wait to build the next one in my already growing backlog of FO sets.

Ok, first and foremost... the pieces are quality prints. No stickers in this set. Not only that, you get a number of unique prints and they are done well. Yes, compatible with the name-brand bricks; standard size bricks. The directions are clear and easy to follow. This set took me about two hours to put together. The end product looks fantastic and will be a great addition to any brick city or town. This set has 3 lights; a street lamp, a light bar inside the shop, and a lighted rotating sign. It uses two 2032 batteries or can be powered by USB (both options are included... bring your own batteries). Play features included: rotating double-sided sign, retractable awning, bicycle, moped, functional lights, and one minifig. Conclusion: Awesome little news stand, looks great, good value. I would have no qualms about ordering this one.

I have been enjoying building sets for a very long time. over the last year I have ventured from the 'leading' and long time company (you all know who). What I have found is that the knock-off/alternate companies have a varying degree of quality - none that matched the long time maker of these blocks - until now ! This is my 2nd FunWhole set and I am overjoyed with the quality, excellent build (everything fits like you expect) and creativity of the set. The lighting is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ! The blocks are of good quality and fit together just right (not to tight, not to loose). All of this for a good price - Great Job FunWhole ! To the 'other' major brick maker - you know, the over-priced one with quality that has been steadily going down... you have some BIG competition now - from FunWhole ! I will definitely be doing more building of FunWhole sets - more for the money, with pretty much identical quality, and LED lighting included !

This is a great set! I have always built Lego sets but wanted to try this one because it looked so good and it did not disappoint! The quality is as good as Lego and the instructions were actually better than the ones from Lego! The lights went in very easy and the set looks amazing! I am so happy with it and am already looking for my next one to purchase! I had no missing pieces and there are no stickers! They are all printed bricks!

We bought this for our 8-yr old son who loves to build with the other, prohibitively expensive name brand building bricks. This looked like it would be much more fun - it has lights! - so we bought it and, wow! My son is having a great time putting this together. After just a day and a half, he is close to completing it (he would already be finished but for the fact that he’s been under the weather). There are no missing pieces, in fact it comes with extra pieces; all of the electronic components work perfectly and, the instructions are easily understood. This is a wonderful set to build and I’m so glad that we bought this. It’s fun for the whole family. We highly recommend this product and, this brand!

This was a really fun build—very similar to Lego sets in style and quality. It took me about a day to complete and I was impressed by the beautiful attention to detail throughout the set. The lighting feature is bright and adds a really nice touch when it’s all done. Some parts came a little bent or slightly too long, so I had to do a bit of DIY to get them to fit properly—but it’s nothing too difficult. Just a minor fix that anyone can handle. Overall, it was worth the effort and looks amazing once finished!

The majority of my block building kits are from the primary name brand. But I have ventured out and have several FunWhole sets. What intrigued me was the light integration. FunWhole packaging is actually premium to the name brand. Instructions book is nicely printed and is easy to understand. Larger sets even give you special tweezers to assist with wiring. If you have been thinking about trying FunWhole this is a great set to start with. It's easy to put together, has a lot of printed tiles - no stickers! Contains one of their unique minifigures and end result is great - especially if you have a city layout. Quality of the bricks is very good and compatible with the name brand. (And they have some unique bricks designed to accommodate the wires.) You won't be disappointed!

This was so much fun and easy to put together! The instructions are clear and easy to follow. There was nothing overly complicated or confusing and all the pieces were included. The details are fantastic and it's a charming piece to add to any city you are building or to just display on the bookshelf. Installing the lights could not have been any easier. I think the detail is as good or even better than Legos. You can't beat this for the price!

For something that isn’t Lego, it is actually excellent quality and my daughter was very impressed building it! She said it felt very close to the original Lego and is now planning to purchase more sets like this.

It's nice to have a smaller set that is modular and a full building with a back wall and everything. LEGO pretty much have their licenses to rely on because these guy are knocking it out of the park with these modular sets. Solid, well designed, includes lights, and SO many printed pieces without a sticker in sight. The minifigure is decent for making it legally distinct. Only negative is the plates hiding the street lamp cable being pushed up slightly. Wish they found another solution for that.

Nice little set, my 13 year old nephew loves the included lights. A bargain compared to lego offerings.

These lit sets are lit 😉 so good and unbeatable for the price!

The design and quality is A+++. My son loves it! The manual is easy to understand, even for a 5 year old. A lot of small parts so be sure to build it with an adult supervision. The lights are stronger when connected to a USB than the battery. We enjoyed building it! Highly recommended!
