I noticed once I received this in the mail that it was a frequently returned item, but let me solve that quickly. The innomaker cameras have an image chip on the board and screwed to the board over that is a lens holder. You HAVE TO remove the lens holder to put the circuit board into the case. The case IS AMAZING and durable and extremely well made. Step one is unscrew the lens from the lens mount, and then remove the screws on the back of the circuit board to remove the lens mount. Then place the board into the case and put the tiny screws into the top left and lower right corners of the circuit board to attach it to the case. Then put the back on the case and put the longer screws into the lower left and top right corners to lock it together. Then flip the case over to the front and thread the lens into the case. And you have a working camera. The lens is very finely threaded so it is pretty straight forward to manually focus the lens by how far you screw it in or out of the case. The quality is great on the camera. Also worth mentioning is that the camera comes with a very short cable. If you are cool with a short cable (about 2 feet maybe) then you will love it. Otherwise, spend the few additional dollars for the 2 meter cable, which is the same, just a lot longer. I am using this as a fisheye lens that is mounted above my laser engraver/cutter. One last note: the pivoting mechanism attaches to the case using screws which is great. You can tighten them up and really lock the position of the camera in place.

Not happy with the case. First problem, the manufacturer points you to some "U20CAM-CASE" repository on GitHub to then go download a manual. Problem is, the U20CAM-CASE repository doesn't exist under the "INNO-MAKER" account (and let's be real, this is NOT a way to provide user documentation). Eventually figured that you unscrew the camera lens from the circuit board to put it in the case. Ok. Screw it all back together - out of focus. Unscrew it until I expect it's going to get into focus and then never does. Put the camera back together without the case, and again it can focus. Ridiculous. The housing seems to add enough distance into the lens element structure that optically it can't focus. That alone makes it useless. And then the screws - 4 longer ones, 4 shorter ones, no guidance on which to use (remember - no manual at their GitHub link?) but it doesn't matter because none of them thread through the holes on the corner of the board to hold the backplate in-place. All in all, shoddy and ridiculous execution. The camera (separate item) seems fine. This case is a joke.

Does not fit a standard OV9782 Arducam. After I milled off the lens insert the lens was able to reach the camera.
