I bought this hose reel as a Christmas present for my wife who is an avid gardener. She has been using it for more than three months now and could not be happier. We mounted it on a 4" x 4" post set into concrete and the mounting is as solid as a rock. Because the hose when filled with water is very heavy, and the swivel is cantilevered from the post, I would not recommend a flimsier mounting method when you need to install away from a structural wall like us. The reel actually swivels more than 180° when mounted on a post, which is great. This gives us the flexibility to water a vast swath of area and still allow the hose to retract directly with no need to walk around to the front. The retraction is smooth and powerful which is necessary with a water-filled hose. When you pull the hose out it stops locks whenever you want. There are multiple quick disconnects that allow you to easily drain the hose in freezing weather. And lastly, the multi-function nozzle has any spray pattern you could need. This is a solidly built high quality hose reel that works perfectly. It's expensive but it's worth it. We like the Hoselink so much that we just today purchased another unit. Highly recommended.

my favoirte hose reel of them all- after several years! I have been using and recommending to friends and garden clients for years because of the consistent quality and ease of use. the recoil is solid and much gentler than other brands out there- and with kids and pets around ... that's an important feature, at least in my book. Easy to setup and install, we only needed to purchase a masonry bit to pre-drill into the foundation where we chose to anchor that one... all the plastic anchors and lag screws are included with a nice template. we mounted at waste height to avoid hitting lower plants and still access the easy swivel and ideal tension to pull the hose from the spigot wall. packaging is easy to open and the reel box couldn't be any easier/ comfortable to pickup with intuitive hand slots for mounting and dismounting. 10 mins MAX... time used to play with preferred height of mounting on wall once setup / installed their connectors are a great bonus because you can attach them independently to the leader hose and then to the hoselink hose, so not to wrestle twisted lines! click in and go! the water pressure is consistent in the 82' we use and the different / standard nozzle filters are ideal- the nozzle also has the easy disconnect feature. there are 2 different on off spots too, easy and comfortable designs there, too! we always store our unit in the basement on a chair to keep from freezing.

This is our second Hoselink. We liked the first one (50ft version) so much we decided to get the longer one and move that to another location. Well made, smooth operation and looks nice to. We‘re so over rolling up hoses!

I’ve had this product for over a year, and it still functions perfectly. I recently found a cheaper alternative that’s already having issues . Don’t hesitate to invest in this one!

Constantly taking out the garden hose and storing it seems such a waste of time now that I have a retractable garden hose from Hoselink. Everything needed to mount on my garage was included. It took me 10 minutes to install the mount. I have given this a thorough workout. Pulled it all the way out, and watered new grass, and the retract feature is tough. Pulled the hose filled with water back into place effortlessly. No more draining the hose, coiling it up, or fussing with it. The included hose trigger nozzle has a really nice quick disconnect feature. Swapping out to a different sprayer is simple and easy, you don't have to turn the water off at the source, as there is a shut off lever right at the hose end, very nice! Very sturdy construction of heavy duty materials. The mounting of the hose real on the wall is the only time you will have to interact with the total weight of the unit. I would highly recommend this retractable hose, as it lives up to all the claims. Save yourself some time and effort when you need a garden hose, it's ready to use when you need it.

Wow! Love this water hose. Mounted ours on a treated 6 X 6 post that we had set this past weekend with Quik Crete. We bought two of these 100 Ft. Ordered a Vinyl cap for the top to prevent rain from rain. I will either pain or stain in the spring after they season. You can also order a post made especially for mounting this on from Hose Link if you prefer. Just had the entire 100 ft. out watering all of my landscaping. The hose retracted back in like silk. Awesome purchase. Highly Recommend!

I have two of these and so far they’ve performed well. The older one recoils a little slower now that it’s been used for 2 summers, but still has a some spring in it. I forgot to remove the nozzle this fall and the first hard freeze cracked the plastic. That’s on me but it doesn’t look like you can buy replacements so that’s frustrating. Overall a good build and a reliable product.

This thing is supper nice. Top notch quality and easy to install. It will save a lot of work rolling up a hose and dragging it out. The automatic roll up system is very strong and rolls up the hose fast and easily. The quick coupler feature on both ends of the provided hose are a nice feature to make it easier to disconnect and store for winter.
