Different from any body scrub that I have tried before, pleasant coffee aroma
Body scrubs are normally a hit or miss for me. Sometimes they are so oily that they leave slimy residue all over my skin and shower. Other times, they are so abrasive that they cause irritation and redness. This body scrub actually doesn't contain ANY liquid. It is just a dry powder that you have to mix with water as you apply it. The coffee fragrance is soooo nice! I love everything coffee so this is right up my alley! It's all that I smell so if you aren't a fan of coffee scents, this probably isn't going to be for you. The scent is pleasant but not ridiculously overpowering. I don't smell it much on my skin after rinsing off. Application is MESSY to say the least. If you try to apply the dry scrub to your wet skin, a lot is probably going to get wasted. I strongly recommend using a small plastic bowl to mix the product in. Add in the desired amount, add in your water, mix until it reaches the desired consistency, and then apply from there. You waste a lot less and it's sooo much less messy! Once mixed, the texture is decent. When mixed properly, it does cling to my skin fairly well. I like to use it on my drier areas and areas prone to cellulite. I wouldn't necessarily say that this is a gentle exfoliator but it didn't cause any redness or irritation. After rinsing, my skin felt super silky and smooth, NOT greasy like it has when using many oil based coffee scrubs.

Not my type
This body scrub is definitely different from what I have used before. The ones I used is mixed with some liquid solution. This one is not mixed with a looks and smell like instant coffee. The smell is not overpowering and I am okay with the coffee smell. This comes with a small clay spoon to scoop the body scrub. I find it difficult to apply because you are supposed to put it into your hand and wipe in on your wet body. When I apply, I was only to apply it to a small portion and need to scoop a few more times to apply to all parts. The scrub itself is similar to how it feels when you get sand on your wet body at the beach. I think there may be people who like how this is used but I prefer other kinds of scrubs that are already mixed.

same as ground coffee
I got this mCaffeine body scrub to exfoliate my body skin, but I feel like I'm paying for the container and the tiny wooden spoon it comes with. This body scrub looks the same as if I were using my own ground coffee, there is not exfoliant ingredients besides coffee, like cream or moisturizer, it says to contain coconut oil or being softened by it, but it's hard to tell. You might just use your own ground coffee and save the money.

great morning boost
Just the smell alone is great and gives you a little kick in the morning. However, it feels as if this is just ground coffee and nothing else. It is a bit hard to distribute over your skin and leaves a mess in your tub. It did not get all the dead skin off my body, but at least some of it. All in all I would say it's not worth the money.
