Ekster Wallet PRO - Vegan AppleSkin Pop-Up Wallet, RFID Blocking - Green

For years, I suffered from what I jokingly call "Costanza Wallet Syndrome"—carrying around a massive, disorganized leather brick that ruined the line of my pants and caused me constant back pain. Making the switch to a minimalist setup felt daunting until I got my hands on the Ekster Aluminum Cardholder Pro. From the moment I unboxed this sleek, all-metal aluminum beauty, I knew my everyday carry was forever changed. The Midnight Blue finish is absolutely striking, offering a sophisticated, modern aesthetic that looks just as at home on a boardroom table as it does tossed on the counter at my local coffee shop. The build quality is exceptional; the aerospace-grade aluminum feels incredibly durable yet surprisingly lightweight, striking the perfect balance between ruggedness and refined style. The undeniable star of the show here is the patented push-button card access mechanism. I cannot overstate how satisfying and downright fun it is to use. With a simple, smooth press of the ergonomic bottom trigger, my essential cards fan out in a perfectly staggered, easily readable array. It eliminates the clumsy fumbling at the checkout line and genuinely feels like a magic trick every time I deploy it. The internal storage comfortably fits up to 7 non-embossed cards, which completely forced me to re-evaluate what I actually need to carry. It turns out, streamlining my life down to my ID, primary credit cards, and a transit pass was incredibly freeing, and this wallet makes accessing them an absolute breeze. Beyond the flashy mechanics, the Ekster Pro takes security and versatility very seriously. The integrated RFID blocking layer provides massive peace of mind, especially when commuting through crowded transit hubs or traveling. Knowing my sensitive information is shielded against wireless skimming lets me navigate my day without a second thought. Furthermore, the "minimalist" tag doesn't mean you are completely stripped of utility. The expandable aluminum backplate, held firmly by a robust silicone band, is a genius addition. It securely stashes folded cash, a few extra cards, or even a parking ticket without compromising the slim profile. It adapts beautifully to those days when I need to carry just a little bit extra. Finally, the integration for trackability is the ultimate stress-reliever for anyone prone to misplacing their things. While you do need to slide in a tracker card to fully utilize this feature, the wallet is purposefully designed to accommodate one seamlessly. The days of frantically tearing apart the couch cushions looking for my wallet are completely gone. After weeks of daily use, sliding it in and out of denim pockets and tossing it into gym bags, the Midnight Blue finish has proven to be incredibly scratch-resistant, maintaining its premium look flawlessly. If you are on the fence about upgrading to a smart, minimalist front-pocket wallet, the Ekster Aluminum Slim Wallet is an absolute triumph of engineering and design that I cannot recommend highly enough.

The best wallet I have ever had. I get compliments on it all the time and had to get one for my brother as well. It holds all my cards including metal ones. It’s sturdy, well built, and looks sleek. Highly recommend!

So I’ve always had a traditional leather bifold or trifold wallet in the past and they’ve been great...however I started having more issues with my lower back and one of the things that my physical therapist said could be aggravating it was sitting on my jam packed full wallet for long periods of time during the day. Just so happens at this time I was in the market for a new wallet, so I took this opportunity to look into the “minimalist” kind. This of course meant that I’d have to downsize...which I was reluctant to do at first because how was I ever to get along without the three year old business card of the AC guy that came out that one time...or the countless others...but one by one, I went through it all and came to the conclusion that I only really “need” my credit/bank cards, drivers license, various insurance cards, and opted for a type of tracking card incase I misplace my new wallet. I know that Ekster has their own tracking card, however I already had a Tile on my key ring and therefor was already using their app on my phone so I decided to give the Tile Slim a try (as it is about the size of two credit cards put together). So after doing days of research, I decided that the Ekster Parliament would fit my needs as a wallet I could store all my essential things in and also as one that would fit nicely and compactly in my front pocket. This wallet also has RFID blocking in the compartment that holds your cards...so that was also another ‘check’ this product had on my needs list. The wallet itself seems to be made really well and the leather is nice and soft (exactly the same as I’d expect to find when looking at a traditional one). The card compartment has a nice feature at the bottom where a simple push of your finger inward while holding, will make the cards inside stair step up to where you can choose the one you are needing at that moment. I’ve seen where others have said that the feature makes all their cards come up in a stack and all I can say is that this isn’t the case with the one I have. I would imagine the amount of cards in the compartment would dictate how it would work. I myself have five and some have raised lettering and numbers and some don’t. I have found that how far the cards come up can be adjusted by how fast you click the lever in. If I push it in slowly with little force, they will come up just enough to see what I need...however if I click it with a fast press, they will stick up to how they appear in my picture above. Hopefully this mechanism will last for the long haul...at its price, it should...but only time will tell. The only other thing worth noting is that even with the few cards that I have in the wallet, the ones that are not in the holding tray, it does make the wallet not want to close. I do see that the manufacturer states that this will be the case until the leather naturally stretches and takes shape, which makes sense, however even if it doesn’t, the pros of this product outweigh the cons to me and I wouldn’t send it back because of it. For me anyway, it only stays open a slight bit while on the nightstand instead of closing flat but when I put it in my pocket, it keeps it closed all the way. I have included pictures with my Apple Watch to show size of this product and also its size compared to the Tile Slim...which I keep in the back opening. All in all, I would definitely recommend this product if you’re in the market for a minimalist wallet but are still wanting that leather feel and extra storage that you would have been accustomed to with a traditional wallet. I will update this review if I start to have any issues with the mechanism or any other issue that isn’t self inflicted. Also wanted to mention that the wallet came in a nicely packaged black box that was plastic wrapped. If you receive one in which the box isn’t wrapped in plastic, I’d be weary that it is probably a return and would seek a replacement....just my advice.

Very sleek and slim wallet. Definitely a step above my previous Ridge wallet. It really only holds 5-6 cards snug. I do the card test of basically trying to throw them out and one does slide out. Not all the way so it’s not a dealbreaker. Overall step up and great improvement. Not sure it’s worth the $99 price tag.

I am very happy with how this wallet has performed, the size and usability. It has been my favorite wallet I have ever owned! Sadly the clip on the inside that pushes the cards up broke and is no longer pushing out my cards. Not sure why this happened, didn’t drop, no change in the number or type of cards used since beginning use. I have and will continue to recommend this wallet!

Pretty good wallet, but for the price i feel like there are some flaws. First off, the description is a bit misleading. It says you can fit up to 14 cards, 5-7 in the cardholder. I was only able to fit 6 in the cardholder and then 7 in the back. Also the cardholder is pretty secure but if you shake the wallet a bit cards will start to fall out. The next thing was that it was a bit annoying that when you clicked the button the cards came out backwards compare to the additional cards on the back - easy fix, just moved them to the opposite side. Overall the build quality is good, metal with a thick rubber band holding the additional cards or cash. definately a great wallet for someone with less than 13 cards

I’ve been using the Ekster Aluminum Cardholder Black for a while now, and I couldn’t be happier with it. The wallet is slim, lightweight, and feels premium in your hand. The quick-access mechanism works flawlessly and makes accessing my cards incredibly fast. It has helped me get rid of the bulky traditional wallet I used to carry, and the RFID protection gives me extra peace of mind. The aluminum construction feels durable and is perfect for everyday use. What really sets Ekster apart is their customer service. They are absolutely outstanding. They respond quickly, are friendly, and genuinely care about helping their customers. It’s rare to find this level of support these days, and it made me even more confident in choosing their products. If you prefer a minimalist wallet that looks great, works exactly as advertised, and is backed by exceptional customer service, I highly recommend the Ekster Aluminum Cardholder Black. Five stars!

I lost my Ridge wallet so had to get a new one. After scanning most all Amazon has to offer, I ordered the 4 best ones that met the characteristics: thin, airtag, CC-focused, and preferably pop-up, and with a place for business cards (or maybe money if you're over 60 ;). This one is the best, by far. The metal body is thin and light. The pop-up mechanism is easy to trigger and works well. It has a rubber band for the airtag and the card/money holder. Basically meets all my criteria and remains thin. I'd say its perfect except for that rubber band. It feels fairly stout, but I'm pretty hard on my gear and I wonder how well that rubber band will hold up. I checked their website and replacements are an obscene $39. So good that I can replace it, but bad that it costs 50% the price of the wallet. Deducting 1 star. My only other complaint are the nonexistent color choices which are: boring, ugly, uglier, and still boring. I'm not taking off a star for a complete lack of sense, but I'll leave that to you. (Me, I've got a powder coating setup and will fix this gross deficiency next week.)

For €100, poor quality!!! Do not buy this

With the move to a more cashless society this is a great way to store & hold enough cards for your everyday life. There is a strap for carrying a little bit of cash about but as soon as you get more than a few notes it does start to push open the flap. The few slots in the flap cover isn’t really suitable for cards although they do fit but it opens the door slightly. It is a great little size and works well I would recommend it although it wasn’t the cheapest it does seem to be well constructed and has performed well for the past few months that I have been using it.

Great and compact, exactly what a man needs who is sick of having a bulky wallet in their pocket

This is an outstanding wallet. It performs as stated. With covid-19, I use very little cash.

Great! fits all my cards and money
