Thick heavy cardboard
No color provided is my only complaint but it's probably good, I'll paint it like Shirley his adopted elephant. I missed that when I ordered but a good first time 3D project. It's going to be a present to my late husband's parents after New Years. He donated to Elephant Sanctuary in TN, USA and loved Elephants all over the world. Recognized years ago the danger of extinction.
