For gaming : Installation speed is limited by download speed or transfer speed from the drive your back ups are, and won't add to FPS. Gave it a 5 anyway since it's doing what I need it to do as a game drive - which is have reasonably fast PCIE4.0 and enough capacity (in this case, 2TB) for the least amount of money. In January 2024, this was the best value by my reckoning unless it underperformed in unexpected ways, or outright broke, but I can't test it longer term yet. So far it works as a game drive and photo editing drive. For media editing : Only re-did an HDR photo edit and it's really fast for that. DRAM cache would be a plus though if you're copying stuff into the drive but given the pricing for SSDs I decided to skip that for the ~3/4 game drive and ~1/4 temporary photo editing drive and instead of spending another $50 to $70 just for the DRAM cache I decided to just upgrade my DDR5 system RAM. If you edit media professionally you might want to still get DRAM cache. Ease of Install : This has to do with your laptop/motherboard+case than the NVME drive. It was easy on my 2023 TUF A15 (6800h, 3060), but YMMV on another computer. Value for Money : $95 for 2TB, PCIE4.0x4 was a great bargain in January 2024; but only because it isn't mid-2023 anymore when this and other drives were going for less. Added only as 3/4 game drive, 1/4 media editing drive (didn't actually partition it) but when I upgrade the included boot drive in my laptop when SSD health drops below 90% I'll probably get an NVME with DRAM cache depending on how prices are like by then.

This meets the requirements and has speed to spare. I had to utilize their warranty outside Amazon's return window and the seller responded promptly and resolved the issue with a spare to my full and excellent satisfaction. It is easy to install, has the correct size and full functionality. Does not get too warm, and removing the sticker is not recommended though. I will stick to this brand as my first option.

I paid less than half of the current price for this seven months ago. Nice work, AI companies. Item works very well and is used in a Thunderbolt enclosure attached to a MacBook docking station. I really, really hope it holds up so I don't need a second mortgage to replace it.

Still using this in my PC. Has worked great, even through the time where windows was burning certain nvme's out.

Drive was great. Fast speeds, lots of capacity. But in February of 2026 I noticed it wasn’t showing up in my File Explorer. And when it did and I clicked on it, it would send my pc into a kernel panic. And even if I didn’t touch it, my PC would randomly kernel panic. I took the drive out of the machine and Windows started acting right again. So now I’m currently trying to get into contact with Silicon Power to hopefully get some sort of replacement going. And of course, all my data is completely gone. It may still be physically on the drive but I have no way of getting it off. It sends every computer I plug it in to off a cliff in terms of stability. Definitely not spending big bucks on this brand again.

Nice size and performance. Easy installation just like any other NVME drive. I have not experience any data loss on this drives. These drives are compatible with MSI X670e Ace/Godlike motherboards as well as Asus ProArt X670e Wifi Creator motherboard. As long as you have a good cooling solution than the heat level will be ok. I recommend these drives.

A little expensive when I purchased it. But good little ssd. But this rather than the QLC version.

Good speed for the price, replaced my Samsung NVME for this and happy with the results.

For this price you aren't going to get 4TB anywhere else (at least not in NZ). Sure it might not be the fastest SSD for massive file transfers, but if you're a regular person like me or using it for gaming, you aren't going to notice any difference and having 4TB in any gamer's computer is going to be much appreciated.

Great speed at 4GB/second real world read/write (I'm actually capped at PCIe 3.0x8 due to this motherboard, as opposed to my other M.2 disks. Time for an upgrade.) I'll continue to add on to my collection of Silicon Power M.2 disks. They always impress me.
