Really chuffed with this. Nice big bottle (not gaudy), inexpensive, appears authentic. Was nervous about the burning tire scent that people mention in reviews, as this was a blind buy for me: I did not experience this, even straight out of the box. It’s a strong pepper opening that dries into a resinous, spicy vanilla. Sometimes scents like this can make me feel ‘not fresh’ but I don’t experience this with Rifaaqat. The sillage is intimate on skin in cool weather, but for me that’s OK as I don’t like to overwhelm other people with my fragrances. The longevity is middle of the road. It smells expensive and not synthetic to me. I like that it’s not like every other vanilla on the market at the moment; it’s not cloying, sickly, or gourmand. The drydown reminds me a little bit of Guerlain SDV. I haven’t had the pleasure of smelling the real Babycat, but I’m very pleased with this perfume in its own right. The performance is very average, but in my experience, this is a great buy. Excellent for the price. I easily prefer this over any fragrance I’ve bought in the same price range, and it clears many more expensive fragrances too. I will be wearing it as my daily perfume over the colder months, and I can save my TF Tobacco Vanille for special occasions. Thank you.

Beautiful spicy, peppery vanilla scent. Very close to a popular y s l scent. Great opening and smooth dry down. Leans masculine but wearable for women. Longevity is great. Not a safe blind buy but if you like smoky, spicy fragrances then this is for you. Bottle presentation great. Projects well and has been a compliment getter!

At first spray it was incredibly spiced to the point it felt like my nostrils were burning. I left it a few days and sprayed again, it smelt of mint but settled to a nice creamy vanilla kind of scent. The eucalyptus smell did waft across my nose a few times throughout the day but it did t overpower. I will leave it a week and try again. I know a lot of Arab scents are best when you leave them a couple of weeks to sit and mature.

Very strong and at first I wasn't keen but now it's calmed down, it is a lovely deep spicy perfume. You could use it as a layer to another perfume if you're not too keen. Good longevity. Surprised it is not more money. Be prepared it is very strong.

Supposed to be like Baby cat fragrance but has a smell of burning rubber. Not a good choice

Smells really nice if you like sweet and leathery perfumes but the longevity could be better as you do have to spray 6+ to get compliments on clothes and a very good value of money from the real thing

this just doesn't make the grade. I would say not 100% genuine no smell very weak, workmanship on the bottle cap very poor,atomiser stem to long and bent.

Ich habe mir PARIS CORNER Rifaaqat als Duftzwilling für das Babycat von Yves Saint Laurent geholt und bin wirklich positiv überrascht. Der Duft kommt dem Original sehr nah und überzeugt vor allem angesichts des Preises. Man sollte ihm allerdings etwas Zeit geben, sich zu entwickeln – direkt nach dem Auftragen wirkt er noch nicht ganz so rund, entfaltet sich aber nach kurzer Zeit sehr angenehm. Mir ist bewusst, dass der Duft nicht jedermanns Geschmack treffen wird, aber für mich passt er perfekt. Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden und würde ihn definitiv weiterempfehlen.
