This is really cool, but difficult to put together

Fun to build. The foam paper is easy to manipulate and build. Well worth the time and money, especially if you have visited the original.

About 5 years ago and prior I had ordered and assembled altogether about 8 of St. Patrick's Cathedral from both "Daron" and "Cubic Fun" on a number of different occasions and was quite pleased with them. I received this current one recently from Cubic Fun and found it very much inferior to the former editions. The boards are thinner and not as sturdy and the images start to peal away from the boards, especially at ends that are pointed. Even more frustrating was the fact that pieces weren't lining up properly. This occurred at the early stage of my assembly and I was so disappointed when I recalled how much well-made the former kits were that I wound up throwing the whole kit in the trash. Although the former kits required patience and dexterity, as well as perseverance, the fact that they were so much sturdier and well-made, with time and careful attention one could fully assemble a nice completed showpiece. I'm sorry to say that this current 3-D puzzle from Cubic Fun is plain junk. I checked online to see if Daron still issued their version, but sadly no Daron versions appear to be available any longer.
