This was surprising great. I love that the instructions were clear. It was my first time using this brand for a permanent dye but I must say the color came out good. My hair was ginger blonde before using the dye and I wasn’t sure how good it would take being as though my hair was previously bleached. But after leaving the dye in for a good 20-25 mins the taking the steps to rinse and wash my hair came out great. Not dry or brittle but silky soft. And this color is closer to my natural hair color definitely will be buying again.

I've had trouble getting hair color to stay in my hair for several years now. The really white roots won't take color at all. Literally within a day the color starts to fall out all over and within a week is unrecognizable as the color on the box. This product has been in my hair for over three weeks now and I still have a good amount of color and no white roots. I will probably be able to go another week or two without having to recolor. Four weeks may not sound like a lot to some people who are used to coloring their hair every two or three months, but for me it is a lifetime. I just ordered three more boxes. My only wish is that they offered a greater variety of shades.

I have used Garnier hair color before but when looking for a new color I discovered this ultra coverage version and decided to try it. After 2 tries, I can say I find it covers gray better and longer. It is easy to use ands smells nice and leaves my hair feeling good. But this formulation does seem to cover gray better and lasts a bit longer before fading. I also like the fact that I found this nice color (630), in-between a dark blond and a light brown. It results in a nice golden light brown. This one is a keeper for me.

ETA: The color has lightened to a closer shade to the expectated one after several washes. The application was easy, and the dye didn't smell as bad as some others, but the color was a few shades darker on my medium brown hair. My hair looks and feels a bit frizzier than it did before. I'm a bit disappointed and will probably go with a lighter color and different brand next time.

Cannot find this color and type in the stores. Happy to find it on Amazon at a fair price. Really covers grey well and fade resistant.
