As described. A little worn, but great for a first time reader who lives horses.

I remember reading only 2 of these books when I was in 5th grade and had been talking to my granddaughter about finding the book for her. I was excited to see there were more and eagerly ordered the set, so that all of my grandkids could read them. Of course, as soon as I received the set I had to read them....they are not quite as wonderful as I remember....but very good still!

I was excited to see these books as a collection. As a child, I had several of them as hardback books and enjoyed reading them as I love ponies and horses. I will savor them all. The books arrived sooner than expected and in the advertised condition.

I love this collection because it lets me share books from my childhood with my niece. My first Marguerite Henry book was a gift from my older cousin. Now I get to support my niece’s reading habit and continue a family tradition.

Our granddaughter just got a horse for 4-H and was very excited to start these books at bedtime.

These books are wonderful classics! I bought them for my eight-year old granddaughter who is a prolific reader and lives to read series books and themed collections. As a former resident of Virginia and Arizona, I remember reading and loving the stories of Misty of Chincoteague and Brighty of Grand Canyon and loving them! I recently came across an article about the ponies of Chincoteague Island and then happened to see a feature on The Today Show about it. I knew my granddaughter would enjoy reading about them! She is fascinated and enjoying reading these books!
