This leather repair tape is awesome! I needed it for the steering wheel of my Tesla when it began peeling off. I assumed it would lose It’s adhesion and start unraveling, but I’ve had it almost a year now with no issues. I’m very impressed with how well it stays stuck to my steering wheel! The color matches almost perfectly. If you can handle the look of the repair job. Instead of an expensive steering wheel replacement then it’s a no-brainer.

This repair tape represents!. My computer chairs gets a lot of use, and it shows. The repair patch tape was cut and shaped to use on the arms and seat of the chair to cover up all the rubbed off and cracked areas. It was easy to place and shape to the curves of the chair. It has been on the chair for several months and looks like it was just placed. All the edges are still in place - not a single rolled up area to be seen.

I used this on a worn spot on my car seat where the leather was starting to crack, and it actually did a solid job covering it up. The adhesive is strong enough that it stays in place once you apply it, especially if you press it down properly and give it some time to set. The material has a decent texture that blends in better than I expected. It’s not a perfect invisible repair, but from a normal distance it looks much cleaner and way less noticeable than before. It was also easy to cut to size, which helped me match the shape of the damaged area instead of just slapping a square over it. I’d recommend cleaning the surface first so it sticks properly. Overall, it’s a simple and affordable way to extend the life of a seat or cover up damage without having to replace anything.
