Thetford 92306 Porta Potti 565E (Electric) Portable Toilet, White-Grey, 448 x 388 x 450 mm

Bought this for our campervan and I must say it's absolutely great. It's a good height and very well made.We couldn't decide whether or not it'd be worth paying the extra for the electric flush but we are really happy we did you literally just put your finger on it and it flushes really well. One thing that bugs me about portable toilets is the smell but this seals really well and there is absolutely no smell at all even when it's full and in a hot country we also bought the green organic liquid for it and that is amazing it just smells like baby lotion and no chemical smell with the added bonus of being able to empty it a toilet etc.It is really easy to empty you just unclip the base and it's got ample carrying handles to take it to the emptying point then clip it back on fill up your flush and away you go.The batteries in the flush last for ages which is a good point and they also come with the toilet. It's definitely worth the extra money to buy this toilet.

After all these years, Thetford, along with a handful of companies, still make a quality product. A rare commodity these days, where products get manufactured in far east and the quality is, at best, as almost as good as the stuff that goes down this product! Not too much to say about this product though (Thetford 92306 @ £120), it is well designed, isn't faulty, wasn't broken on arrival (good, given that Amazon delivered it!) and simple to set up.A couple of minor (and I mean insignificantly MINOR!), the plastic seat cover when lifted, brings both the seat and cover up, then you need to separate them (is this a male-orientated design - yay, for once a product that has consideration for the segment of the population that stands to pee!), if you wish to make a a more substantial deposit. Separating the top section to access the waste container also sticks (this may just be a new thing, though). As already said, these are petty things, and maybe like that by design, but I think I'd rather it this way than loose (especially, whilst travelling!).Wife loves it (100% males wouldn't understand what this means), so why should I complain?Would I recommend? Absolutely! I have used Thetford products for more years than I can recall, and never had a complaint.

Got this to help my father who has mobility issues and even with a stair lift its hard for him to go to the loo. This has helped tremendously. Its was easy to set up. Is sturdy. Hight is similar to a standard loo but the seat is much smaller which is a shame as this does make it hard for may dad. I would say for camping or caravanning it would be ideal. Emptying is simple enough although the bottom unit can be quite heavy. Easily copes for a week between emptying. Recommend using good quality chemicals.

Bought for elderly lady who can't 'do' the stairs.......does a great job, much better than a normal commode. Simple to prepare for use, steady 'n hygenic.....great product!!

Thetford previously did not provide batteries and the batteries were huge. This new toilet requires only AA batteries which although included with this order - which is good, they were flat so be aware you may need to provide your own batteries.Apart from that very happy with our new loo.

Delivered very quick in 1.5 days, but we had a slight issue as the first one was the wrong model. Returned and Amazon were awesome. New correct one sent straight away so again less than 2 days new one arrived and is perfect. Great customer service and today had mail confirming receipt of first unit. The product is great, we got the electric flush so kids didn’t have an excuse they couldn’t flush 😂 but it is also slightly taller so easier to use. They really have come on and now just as good as permanent fit cassette toilets. Doesn’t come with any sample fluids etc so need to order.

Wished I’d have purchased one of these years ago.I did a lot of research before committing to buy, glad I did.As this is an essential piece of kit.I Brought the electric flush version, the flush is really quite.Due to staying on a full campsite this year and a good walk to the facilities I decided to invest in this Porta Potti!Well all I can say is - BRILLIANT!!No late night/early hours trips to the loo block. I purchased a utility tent. Job done. The chemicals (purchased separately) do a fantastic job. There is no odour at all. It’s best to buy the Thetford loo roll as it dissolves unlike normal loo roll. This will also come in very handy when we have our bathroom renovations soon. Really chuffed with my purchase.

Purchased in place of a commode.. looks great and discreet and great height for elderly parents to get on and off without any problems.. no longer smelling the commode as you walk in needing to be emptied after every use.. easy for my parents with dementia to use.. as they had no way of fitting a downstairs ect without a lot of cost and time.. it fitted in the coat cupboard with ease and used with the right products smells fresh the whole time.. it’s been a lifesaver. the flush is simple and effective … this has made not only caring for my elderly parents easier for me , they have had no more mishaps and regained their dignity at the same time.. happy life.

Have a Roamify canopy/tent combo (extra tall) and this can sit in the bed of my truck for any late knight washroom breaks. At 188cm I can sit on this in the camper without worrying about wacking my head on something. Easy to dump and easy to clean. the the TP holder/cubby is just too cute

This toilet will be used year round, and full time in our cabin. So far i've only had it for a couple of days, but I've seen this potty to be well manufactured, durable, it's the exact height of a household toilet, it has a normal oval deep toilet-bowl, and has an electronic pump to flush with, versus the typical manual piston pump style. More important, the mount and lock device which keeps the fresh water & toilet bowl well sealed to the dirty water holding tank is well designed and does not leak. Thetford also gives a 3 year warranty on this unit so if anything including the electric water pump fails, they cover it without proration or will replace the unit if they cant fix it. That's what sold me.There are other reviews on this forum which claim this unit has been discontinued, but as of 12/10/21 this is still in full production.I had previously purchased another porta potty from a different manufacturer and what I've learned from this purchase is that the typical porta potty's have a manual piston pump for flushing which isnt very powerful, the toilet bowl is round instead of an oval shape like a household toilet, and is extremely shallow, so if your not careful, your JUNK can easily go swimming with the tootsie rolls if you know what I mean. The worst part of this other toilet is that after about a week of usage, the clips which mount the toilet bowl to the dirty water holding tank loosened up which no longer allowed a tight seal, which lets liquid to leak between the units onto the ground, as well as makes for an unsanitary job of carrying the dirty holding tank to it's dump location. Now that I've bought a Thetford Porta POTTI 565E Curve 4/5.5G, these issues have all been "FLUSHED DOWN THE DRAIN"My point here is that my family and I are thrilled with our Thetford Porta POTTI 565E Curve 4/5.5G. It's hands Down, far superior to any other porta potty on the market.Buy it, you won't be disappointed, and you'll have the peace of mind that for the next 3 years and beyond, this unit should do it's job

Fantastische mobile Toilette! Einmal etwas anderes.
