Men's Sleep Shorts - 100% Cotton Knit Sleep Pajama & Lounge Wear

First I don't know how people wear these but I consider them underwear. This style, sometimes called launge shorts, is perfect for sitting around the house on a lazy day; there extremely comfortable and at the same time if someone drops by my house I don't have to change into pants or pajamas as the extra long length allows for a level of modesty regular boxers wouldn't (in fact I don't even think most people even realize your wearing underwear instead of shorts). In fact because these are so 'roomy' and unrestrictive they're more comfortable than regular boxers! This particular pair has the fly sewn shut so no unexpected surprises suddenly pop out to make an appearance :-) Material/quality: They're a bit thicker than your average pair of boxers, but not as thick as a traditional pair of shorts. They're definitely not see through (at least in black) so you won't get arrested for wearing them outside but IMHO that's not what they're meant for. Finally they're 100% cotton and features an elastic waist band with a draw string that can be used if necessary. Besides being perfect for sitting around at home while maintaining some modesty, the extra length and slight extra thickness can help provide just a bit of extra warmth when worn under jeans on a cold day. Like I said previously I'm a big fan of this style of underwear (which can be a bit hard to find) especially and this a quality pair at a good price.

2020 ordered 2 pack of BLUE what I received is a 2 pack of Navy. I'd purchased this same 2 pack either last yr or the year before...What I got was a nice blue. What I recv'd the other day is NAVY. Not sure what's going on with them. I've bought so many pants from CYZ over the years. It took 3 tries at Christmas to get the color I ordered; they kept shipping the wrong color...and here we go again. Maybe whoever is filling the orders is color blind..?? If you don't care about color... this is a good buy... if you really want the color you ordered from CYZ-- good luck! 2019 (?) order Well folks...... These are great shorts--for women! I know, they're men's but they are well made and so comfortable! Women's shorts are always cut smaller and shorter. Often they don't even have pockets and I think all women's pants, including pj's should have pockets. That's what got me started looking at men's knit shorts a number of years ago. Now, if I want comfort, pockets, a longer leg length, I go with men's. I also like that these are 100% cotton as I'm allergic to synthetic fibers. I wear them around the house and to sleep in during the summer --but don't hesitate to run errands, take walks, etc. wearing them. I also buy men's long knit cotton lounge pants for the same reason's. Only problem there is they don't come in petite so I have to alter the length. Right now I'm wearing a pair of these CYZ 100% cotton knit shorts in Black No Stripe. BTW, they just look black. My only criticism, they don't have a Navy blue. Highly recommend these ;unisex; shorts.

Bought these (grey no stripes and grey melange - size Medium) for my husband. They are not as different in color as the photos depict BUT you can definitely tell one is darker than the other as the "melange" are more of a heather gray vs the darker gray color of the other pair. I like them because they have a versatile look. My husband's con is that they are more snug on his hip/pelvic area than his Hanes classics. He says he feels like he is wearing nothing in the Hanes versus these. This brand looks comfortable for lounging at home or for if he runs to the store. The material in these do not allow for any super evident d-prints lol unlike the Hanes. As for them being true to size, I followed the size chart and I knew they would fit because they look super similar in size to his Hanes lounge pants and underwear which also are a medium. Oh also, one pair (heather/ melange) is about a half inch shorter than the other pair too, so I took a star off. The bands are elastic and sewn nicely and can adjust for comfort. I would say these are better quality than his Hanes classics. The Hanes are 60%cotton, 40% poly made in India and kind of sheer if held up to light def only house pants/sleeping but these are slightly thicker (still thin just thicker than name brand) and 100% cotton. Not sheer at all. Good quality. Made in Bangladesh. Not that cheap stretchy crap that falls apart after a few washes. FYI- I'd only wash all these on cold to preserve their wear and the life of the elastic band. Air dry. No dryer even tho the tag says you can tumble dry on low. No point, they will dry fast if you lay them flat.

I am very picky about the shorts I wear. I also hate buying clothing over the internet because of being so finicky. But for these CYZ Men's sleep shorts, I am extremely pleased with them. They are comfortable and very soft. The elastic waistband is stretchy but not too much that it squeezes my waist line and leave marks around my waist. The trifecta is they have a drawstring for the times I do carry things in my pockets around the house and I need them tighter. I am very very happy with these shorts. I only wish they came in more colors as I would stock up them. I purchased them in a XXL as I have a 40" waist and they fit perfectly. As bigger guys like me understand, sometimes it is difficult to find what you want in the size you want. Heck they don't even carry the blue color in this size in the same brand. So when I find something that works perfectly for me, I want to let others know. The CYZ Men's sleep shorts did not shrink in the wash or dryer and came out wrinkle free. Overall, I'd highly recommend them and I'll be on the lookout for more colors in my size.

Update: I liked these so much I ordered a second pair, this time in blue, just spent my first night in them, and very comfortable. This time, unlike the gray pair below which despite the Amazon listing showed they had some polyester, these blue ones are clearly marked on the fabric 100% cotton, so I am taking them back up from four stars to five. --- previous review: I love the shorts. Particularly in the Florida climate, perfect midpoint between sleeping bare and with long PJ pants, and less restrictive than underwear. I had - and love - a pair of plaid sleep shorts from this company; this time I bought the all gray; the fabric seems even softer. Love it. Wish there was a fly. Shorts come down to the knee, and I wouldn't want 'em any further. I ranked them as "fit as expected," because at 6'3" and a 36-inch waist, L is good. But if right in the midline between two sizes in your decision, I would go the higher of the two. I did dock them one star because Amazon really needs to figure out what the fabric content is. They are shipped in a plastic wrapper with a label that says "100% cotton knit." But inside the butt of the shorts themselves the stamp says "60% cotton 40% polyester" and "made in Bangladesh." Still, a carefree, comfortable way to sleep.

Bought my second pair of these after trying out 3 different types of "mens sleep shorts." I typically would just sleep in boxers, but with young kids now, normal boxers aren't the ideal thing to walk around the house in when I need to get out of bed. So I was looking for something that was just as non-intrusive to sleep in, but more ideal to wear around the house when I wanted. These were perfect. I'm 6'1" and on the thinner side (about 178 pounds) so I wear a 32-33" waist in pants/jeans, and size Medium fit perfectly. They are just the right length, not tight or uncomfortable at all around the waist. They are also somewhat tapered so they aren't baggy or puffy like a couple of other sleep shorts I tried. Very comfortable to sleep in, and I love having a decent pair of "shorts" to wear when I get out of bed in them instead of crappy boxers. Big added bonus that they have pockets to stick my phone in, and the pockets don't make the shorts weird to sleep in.

Soft and comfortable--good for sleeping. Black shorts not colorfast. Washed in the sink 3 times with dishwasher soap; wash water went from grape juice to light grape soda on third wash.
