Nice toaster, the toast and my English muffins come out fine, sometimes the bread pops right out of the element and lands on top, does not happen every time so I can live with it. The red is very pretty. Overall I am happy with it.

This replaced a 15 year old toaster that started to give me problems. This toaster looks great, has a defrost cycle, and a Bagel cycle. The slots are wide enough for waffles, bagels, English Muffins, and most breads. BUT. Some commercial rye bread is too long for the length of the slots, and thus have to be cut in half to fit. Toasting white bread is totally uneven as shown in their ad. The heaters are separated and thus toast in bands with done and not done sections. The waffles, bagels, English Muffins seem to toast ok. The defrost cycle worked fine on waffles. I like the popup lever, a plus. The defrost cycle is a plus. The Cancel button is a plus. The cleanout trays are a plus. The Amazon description says this is a 1,850 watt unit, and it is. The wattage is 825 watts per side, so that if using both sides at once, you do not overload you wall receptacle or circuit breaker.

I was beginning to think a good toaster no longer existed. First bought a Black & Decker toaster which had a bagel button that did nothing. Started reading reviews of other toasters that had too many consistent issues. Then we found this toaster. Good reviews, so I bought. It works well, Bagel button turns off heating elements on one side as it should. The toasting does a great job. I highly recommend it; not negatives after a successful week of making toast using multiple kinds of bread. Some mention that their toaster had a chemical smell, this is a manufacturing thing. I suggest you run it under the stove exhaust fan for a couple cycles (think I did 4 times - maybe overkill), and no longer have any smells. I don't normally write reviews, but it was nice to actually find a great toaster. Very happy so far!

Before we bought this, we had an Oster long slot 4 slice toaster. It could never toast a piece of bread decently and we hated the thing. So we decided to bite the bullet on the Roto Mond 4 slice toaster. What a difference! This toaster looks fantastic, and toasts brilliantly and consistently. It has a feel of quality about it and does the job perfectly. I would definitely recommend it!
