Amazing for the airplane
Amazing for long haul flights! My legs are always sooo uncomfortable. This allows me to move my feet around and elevate them a little more. Really helps since I am short. Also, even though some airplanes have a little foot rest in their economy plus section, I felt like this stool still helped because I could move it to the exact spot I wanted. It is very flat so it can fit in almost any bag. The only downside is that it is a bit heavier than I would have hoped but light enough that I can easily take it in my backpack or carry on purse (if it were any lighter I don't think it would be sturdy enough so not a complaint just an FYI). Highly recommend if you're looking for an option for the plane that isn't a hanging leg rest.

Great product
This portable footrest worked great! When I need to rest my feet when traveling, this footrest, although small, helped to relieve the pain in my legs and feet after all the walking I did while on vacation. Good quality.

Effective but pricey
Ordered this for use at home due to a pinched nerve in my back and the need for good sitting posture. I'm 5'1" and my feet don't quite sit flat on the floor. It's helped tremendously. Clever design- easy to set up and to fold for storage. Sturdy enough and stable. However it's a bit heavier than I would expect for something made of plastic. I do plan to try this out on an upcoming flight- hopefully the airline will allow it. I'm in a first class seat, which is always too high for me, and I can't bring my foot sling since there's no tray table in front of me to hang from. I supposedly got this on sale, but I think it's still pricey for a stool. However, if it takes pressure off the back of my thighs and prevents leg nerve pain, it's worth it!

Where has this been all my life?
I am short - 5'3" - and I am always uncomfortable on planes, in movie theaters, my desk, etc. as it puts strain on my hips and back with my feet dangling down. I try to sit cross-legged as much as possible, but that's not always feasible. This little guy is my HERO. I have a regular foot stool under my office desk, but one of my monitors is in front of a cabinet, so there's very little room to put a stool when I'm facing that monitor. This fit the bill perfectly! It's nice and skinny so it can fit between my chair and the cabinet. I will be taking this on all future flights as well - I won't have to prop my feet up on my carry-on anymore! It weighs 1 lb, 4 oz according to my postage scale, and I got it in purple because it seemed more fun than black, haha! My only gripe is that $40ish is a bit steep - I think $30 would be more appropriate - but my comfort is priceless, so there we are!

Perfect For Airplane Travel
Have used this footrest on several flights now and must say it is definitely a necessity on longer flights. I am 6'1 and 228 lb and this works perfect for me. It folds nice and compact and fits easily into my travel backpack and it takes all but 10 seconds to open and 10 seconds to close and put away. If you're looking for a way to elevate and or relax tired feet and lower legs on airplanes, or even buses or at work, this really is a nice footrest to have. I recommend.

Good footrest for under desk
I got this as a foot rest for under my desk in my home office, once I started working from home, and my furniture is less than ergonomic. One of my colleagues had shown me this product years ago, she's a shorter lady and she said she took hers everywhere to sit more comfortably. I'm tall, but I still think this would be a good travel footrest for a plane. It is not super lightweight, but for what it is it's pretty compact and sturdy - it certainly feels like it would hold up my weight and not buckle. The surface is large enough that I didn't feel like my feet were wobbling or rocking on it. Keep in mind the height is not adjustable, so the height was OK on my wood floor or on a low pile carpet but on a high pile carpet my knees were hitting the underside of my desk. Otherwise it's a good versatile footrest!

Not portable enough
It’s a bit too bulky to take in carry-on luggage.

It was ok
I had a metal version years ago that was more sturdy. This one kept ‘unlocking’ on one side. It was just ‘ok’ for an 8 hr flight.
