I absolutely love my Weber Traveler. A great upgrade over the Q series. The fact the base is built into the grill means it is much more stable and can withstand alot of moving. The one thing that has been missing is a cover. When the grill was released, there was no cover, then they came out with one that protected it when in a lowered position, then they came out with one that covered the ENTIRE grill, including the legs. I just needed to cover the top, that's it. Weber never came out with one. So having a 3rd party fill that need has been great. This cover protects the top and the bottom of the grill where the grease falls down to. It can be left on if you are going to put the grill in the lowered position as well. It has an elastic cord to keep it tight on the grill on those windy days as well. Very well made cover. The only question is if you actually need a cover. I feel like the Traveler is well-built and obviously it has been in the elements for awhile now and still looks/performs as good as the day that I bought it. But, I do think there is some benefit to protecting anything that is going to be outdoors in extreme weather. Over time, damage will be done.

Seems nicely made, not too cumbersome to unfold and place on grill. I know it's advertised to fit over the cooking area but if you try just a little, it can fit over the handles as well. Not super heavy duty feeling but a nice, lightweight, flexible cover to help protect the grill. A toggle clamp drawstring helps secure it. Would recommend.
